With the 100° temps, it's not likely that it's at the front of your mind, but my Holiday appointments are beginning to fill.

PLEASE do not procrastinate setting those November and December groomings!!!

I am still working to add a few appointments over the next couple weeks, please comment if interested. My schedule is otherwise full well into October.

I am currently taking some new clients, but space is limited.

Up in my feelers a bit today...
I recently received an appointment request from a previous client who hasn't lived in Casper for quite some time, and I had zero hesitation making room for "just one more" in my schedule. This sweet face is Ruthie... one of the many Shelties and Pappilons rescued from a local hoarder. I think I provided grooming to 12 or 13 of those dogs upon their adoptions. I continued grooming a few for a while, and many either passed early because of health issues or moved away. I haven't seen Ruthie in FIVE YEARS... just look at her! She has absolutely blossomed, has confidence, and is sooooo HAPPY and full of love. Ruthie is beginning to age. They guessed her at 7 prior to adoption, but no one really knows. She recently had some issues with her skin and coat, which resulted in her vet shaving her hind end a few months ago. I don't think the hair will grow back, but I had an idea to make it blend and look intentional. We now have Ruthie, the adorable little lady lion! I am so glad her Mama brought her to see me, and my heart is happy to know Ruthie has been living an absolutely AMAZING life. 🥰

Welcome home, Vlad... now known as Vlady Nubbins!!! Even though this has been a pretty traumatic and stressful experience, the amount of love and kindness shown to our family is appreciated beyond words. Several adaptations to make, but we are grateful to have our special Panther Kitty with us.

Vlad has made it through surgery. He will heal and be an amazing Tripawd. I can't even express my gratitude to Doc James and his staff. They literally stayed until after midnight to compete his surgery. It is nice to know that there are still compassionate vets that genuinely care about the animals they treat beyond schedules and lining their wallets. I am so grateful for Doc James and all his staff.

Y'all... Doc James and his staff just stayed until midnight on a Saturday to get my Vlad kitty through surgery around a few other emergencies. My Panther Kitty will meed some time to heal, but I am so incredibly grateful for everything to align, and allow my Vlad Buddy a chance to recover. He is a pretty special fella. 💕 🐈‍⬛💕

Well, my buddy Vlad is home. His leg is injured badly, and it will require amputation. Obviously, I have an unexpected significant vet bill coming. Thank goodness for Dr. James, I can't say enough good things about him and his staff after today. I was always told finding a little humor in the hard things makes it all a bit easier. Soooooo.... UPDATE: My buddy came home! He is injured pretty badly, and will be losing his back leg. Let me tell you, after the past couple hours, I don't have much anything nice to say about many of the vets in this town, or nearby. A huge THANK you to Dr. James and his staff... nice to know there are still some vets and their assistants that care more about the animals welfare then their schedules or wallets. Vlad will be a tripod terror. 🥰

Missing in Wolf Creek.... my Vlad kitty likes to explore our back yard, and, apparently, he decided to try and hop the fence into our neighbors yard. He was found around 7:30am Thurs. 6/27, hung up with his leg stuck between two boards. 🥺 My kind neighbor freed him, and said Vlad hightailed it under my porch. I was not home, but have since returned. Kids have looked many times, and I have done a thorough search also. We have pulled boards off the deck, and no trace at all. I have no idea how badly he is hurt, and I am sure he is traumatized and scared. I am sad and worried. He spends some time in our back yard, but is not an outdoor cat. Will be checking with Metro when they open today. Vlad refuses to keep a collar on. He has white on his chest, tummy and inside his ears. We just want our buddy home. 🥺

To know me is to know chaos is my norm.💁‍♀️ I have survived end-of-year school activities, a graduation, a third-degree burn on my forearm (hey, blondie!!), and am on the mend from a nasty bout of early Summer crud. 🫠 I have received numerous messages for added appointments or cancelation spots. I am TRYING to get back through them, but if you need an appointment, PLEASE comment on this post! I can keep better track if these requests are in one spot. I am also needing to move a few early July and August appointments to accommodate family events. I will reach out to those clients and get you moved. As always, I greatly appreciate my Dapper Family and those who remain understanding that the juggle is a struggle!! That said, if you need a little flexibility on drop off/pick up times, please ask... I will accommodate as best I can!

For those who watch, or may be inclined to do so.... Rowan has won Best of Breed and made it to Westminster group finals which air tonight! Rowan, is from Douglas and is the first of his breed to win multiple Best in Show awards. Making it even more cool is that my Mama and I used to groom and show with Jenni, who is part of Rowan's team. Let's get a BIG win, Rowan, and make more history! 🏆🤞🏼
