Echo Ridge's Talisman NF DCAT, "Token" is owned, adored, and trained by Jenn Cannon ( ). He plays agility, flyball, disc work, and when they can find points they do some conformation!

In December, he was awarded WD at the Herding Specialty in Florida under breeder judge Jean Pero.

In February, he earned his Novice Fast Title in Agility.

Last week, they attended the National in Louisville Kentucky, where he went second in his class. On Sunday, he went WD/BOW at the PSCA Supported entry for a 5 pt major under Judge Linda Robey. He only needs one point to finish! Then he was awarded an Excellent Merit Evaluation under French Breeder Judge Norbert Gainche. In between all of that he also earned his TCQ (temperament test) and earned more qualifying runs towards his FCAT title. He also had two qualifying runs to earn his Herding Instinct Certificate on Monday!

We are so happy that the stars aligned and Jenn got the grey Echo puppy she always wanted. Thank you Jenn for loving him and taking him on so many fun adventures. 💕💕

My whirlwind trip to the PSCA National Specialty in Louisville, KY was an absolute blast! I had an awesome time seeing all of my Pyr Shep friends near and far, and admiring all of your Pyr Sheps. I want to give a huge shout out and thank you to the show committee and PSCA board for all you do. These people are fueled by their passion for these lively dogs and they work tirelessly to keep the club and these events going each year. This is extra challenging in such a rare breed where there are few people, and they often volunteer to juggle multiple jobs. Congratulations to everyone on your wins, I am so happy for each of you.

Thank you to my friends who drove me around, let me crash this weekend, and made sure I ate. Thank you to the owners of Echo Ridge puppies for both believing in our dogs and your dedication to yours, we couldn't do this without you. Thank you to my friend Norbert Gainche for always be so generous with sharing your knowledge and experience with the breed. Thank you to Donald Schneider for your tireless support and love, and ability to hold everything down at the farm. Onwards to the next adventure!

Nine years ago, Echo won her first major at the York shows with Donald. I was pregnant with our sweet , and I didn't want to waddle around the ring. Owning, showing, and breeding our Pyr Sheps is a passion that we hope to continue to learn and grow for many years to come.

Happy 3rd Birthday to the Odin x Echo "S" litter, Sequin, Sonnet, and Saga!!! Between all three girls, they have accomplished titles, or certificates in: conformation, agility, sheep herding, disc work, FastCAT, scentwork, barn hunt, rally, obedience, trick dog, Canine Good Citizen (and Advanced), and all three girls earned their TCQs. But most importantly, they are adored by their owners. ❤️❤️❤️

Echo Ridge's Sonnet Of Love FDC FCAT3 SWN RATN CGC TKI FITG (Sonnet) completed two successful herding instinct tests in November to qualify for her Herding Instinct Certification! Congratulations to this team and all they have accomplished, as well as the other Echo Ridge puppies who have demonstrated natural talent in herding.

Pyr Sheps were bred for the purpose of sheep herding in the Pyrenean Mountains, and we are proud to be maintaining this natural instinct in our lines.

And then there were none...Echo Ridge's Unsolved Mystery, Daphne, is heading off to CA with her awesome owner. She will get to play agility, dock diving, sheep herding, and make some left turns around the conformation ring. We are so excited to follow their adventures together.
