!!!Free lease!!! Abbie is an 11 year old welsh large pony mare. She would need to stay at our farm in Catawba, NC. Super sweet but very athletic which can be intimidating to some. All to often I see riders trying to “see a distance” to a fence and we loose the fundamentals of track rhythm and pace and the course never looks rhythmic from start to finish. Here were demonstrating these fundamentals with a ground pole. We found a track, an appropriate pace for a ground pole and tried to stay rhythmic all around. You can see on the second pole how we lost our track and the distance to the pole was not there. When we got back on track the distance was there every time. Bringing it down to a ground pole gave riders more time, at a slower pace, to think about the task at hand. Great job today alex!

Our show team had a great weekend in Raleigh!

Emily Bowles finally got to bring her own pony, Absolute Logan to the horse show. They had a successful weekend bringing home the champion ribbon both days in her division out of 13! It was her first time competing in the crossrails and she went around like a pro! We are so proud of her work and dedication her placings were well deserved!

Marjorie and Adeline had some great rides in the crossrail division. They placed in most of their classes the first day, Marjorie made some big improvements to her riding the second day and ended up tying for champion with her friend Emily! This pony allows no room for error and Marjorie was on point with her riding! So proud of how far she has come!!!

Both of these girls had multiple compliments by trainers on their ride-ability! These ponies aren’t easy but they have taught them so much and their determination made them never give up!

Luke, Jacqueline and Tallulah dominated the lead line classes! The kids have a bright future

Annie Eagle and her new OTTB Five had a positive weekend schooling and walking the show grounds! Five is such a cool horse we they have a bright future!

Thank you to Sophia for grooming for us this weekend! She worked so hard and was a big part of our success and to everyone that came and supported the barn and these kiddos!

We had so many inquiries for our July 27-31st camp we decided to add one last camp this summer! August 9th through the 13th!!!

We will be offering a summer camp at my horse farm July 27-31 Tuesday-Saturday and august 9th-13th from 9-2. We will ride everyday with a fun pizza party and horse show on the last day, learn all about horses and horse care, fun crafts and water activities!
