These 2 domesticated rabbits were abandoned in the field east of Sportsman's Warehouse. They were left in the crate pictured below with the door open. Luckily an officer was able to safely catch them and bring them into the shelter.

He jumped the fence at the Cedar City Animal Adoption Center at 10:30am this morning.
He is a Tree Walker Coonhound and tri colored.
He is wearing a faded red collar.
Please do not chase him. He will run.

We are missing a dog from the shelter.
This is Jethro. He is a tri-color (black, white, tan) Treewalker Coonhound. He is wearing a faded red collar.
Today at 10:30AM he jumped the fence at the shelter and took off. He was last seen near the armory on the corner of Kittyhawk Dr. and Airport Rd.

He is VERY SKITTISH. If seen please call, do not try to catch or chase, he will continue to run.
We have had several staff members and our animal control officer looking for him and no one has seen him yet.

📣📣UPDATE: Huge thank you 🙏🏻 to New Start K9 for pulling momma and babies and to Taylor Hollingsworth for fostering. ❤️❤️ Momma and babies are doing great. The shelter is a loud and scarey environment for a momma with newborn pups. If you are interested in adopting momma or one of the pups, when they are old enough, please reach out to New Start K9. New Start K9 is a Utah-based nonprofit, volunteer-run, dog rescue organization. ❤️❤️ _____________________________________________________________________ We posted this dog on Monday 4/15 when she was brought in as a stray, with no collar,tags or microchip. We thought at the time she may have been nursing puppies. On the morning of 4/18 she gave birth to 5 puppies in her kennel at the shelter. As of today, we have received no phone calls or information in regards to who owns this dog. We are concerned that the owner may be unaware their dog is missing. Or that she was abandoned outside the Cedar Bowling Alley 3 days before giving birth. If you have any information on who she belongs to, please contact the Cedar City Animal Adoption Center at 435-586-2960 or you can message us on Facebook. Someone knows something about this dog. Please help us out. **Neither the mom or babies are available for adoption**
