COFFEE & A COMPANION
The Wicked Bean has been so gracious to let us host an adoption event at their location. Come grab a coffee (or 2!) and a companion. It's sure to be a great time!
We provide dog-sheltering, adoptions, and animal control for the city of Centerton, AR. We work hard to find good homes for good dogs.

Centerton Animal Services works to help stray dogs, inside the city limits of Centerton Arkansas. After providing a safe place for them to shelter, we strive to reconnect them with their owners. If no owner can be found after 7 business days, the dog will become City property. Once the dog belongs to Centerton Animal Services, we will switch gears from trying to find the dog's original owner, to making all efforts to place the dog with a loving new family.

Meet Max and Chloe. These sweet babies came in together and are looking for their forever homes.
Chloe is a 4 year old Malinios mix. She is SO loving. She wants to be near you and has excellent leash manners.
Max is about 1.5 years old. He is just the sweetest, goofiest pup. He is still learning his manners but is picking them up quick.
They do not have to be adopted together. We just want to see them in loving homes.
ONE MAN’S “TRASH” IS ANOTHER’S TREASURE
Moe and Meenie (new names to be determined) have found the PERFECT home with so much love. We are so happy for them. Thank you so much for adopting!
Last week was incredibly busy here at the shelter. We will be updating you as this week progresses, but we wanted to start with what may be the most gut-wrenching incident.
These 4 sweet puppies were in a trash bag, dumped near the City Pond. Thankfully, they were found by a very kind member of our community before they suffered any damage. They are safe and receiving so much love here at the shelter. They are ready to find their place in this world with a family that truly loves and cares about them.
Introducing Eenie, Meenie, Miney, and Mo. These precious souls love to cuddle and are very playful. Come meet them to see if they are a good fit for your family!
We are having a blast at the Kick Off Summer event at Kinyon Park! There is still time to join us for the movie in the park.
We have some amazing dogs here at the shelter. Help us help them find the perfect home they are so deserving of!
Let's start this cloudy day off with a ray of sunshine! This young lady has a bracelet making business. She donated a portion of her profits to the dogs here at the animal shelter. We are so thankful for her generosity and kindness!
Reese is so happy in her new home! Her new family came by today to make it official. Thank you so much for adopting!
Our dear Mama Mia has had her dreams come true. She has a home with a sweet, very loving family. Thank you for adopting!
Like many others, we are experiencing some issues with our phones. We are able to receive calls but cannot make calls out. If we miss your call, please leave your email so we can get back to you. If you would rather, you can email us at [email protected]. We will have multiple people monitoring this email and will respond as quickly as we can. Thank you for your understanding!
You’re also welcome to come in. We are open 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. The dogs would love to see you!
Friends, we need your HELP!
This is Sissy. She slipped away from her foster by McKissic Springs Rd this evening. She has one club foot but that doesn’t slow her down. She is very nervous so we just need you to keep an eye out for her. Please message us or Big Paws of The Ozarks with any possible sightings!
We are in awe of our community and the willingness to help. All of our dogs here at the shelter are safe and the shelter structure is okay. We are working on ways that we can be of assistance to those that have been displaced or have sustained damage. Thank you for your patience!

A term that describes how long it feels that Dex has been waiting to be adopted but is also what he is looking for. A forever home with a loving, understanding family. He doesn't like other dogs and wants to be with you. He does have some separation anxiety and doesn't do well alone. He loves to cuddle and chew. When we find his adopters, he will go home with his favorite ball.

In what we are calling The Inn Project, we had the pleasure of helping 31 dogs on their journey to find their forever homes. Local rescues and shelters were able to reserve a kennel here for these dogs so they could catch their ride to Minnesota early this morning. We are honored to be able to play a small part in these animal’s lives.
ALL PUPPIES HAVE FOUND THEIR FOREVER HOMES! Pupdate: The puppies are getting so big! They are finding their voices and learning to use their legs. It’s so amazing to watch them grow. They will be ready for adoption the first week in May!

WE LOVE TREASURE! 💎💕 This guy is such a sweetheart. He is about 1.5 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. He loves his belly rubbed and to be close to you. He isn't a fan of other dogs but will be your biggest fan! His adoption fee has been fully covered by a wonderful member of our community.
A dog without a home is as sad as a home without a dog.
