Here at Stylin' Paws we don't shave double coated dogs. Doing so can damage the coat. Once shaved the coat may never grow back and if it does grow back it may grow back improperly. So if you have a husky or a Newfoundland, please don't shave them. That coat helps keep them cool in the summer.
Shaving them in the summer makes them hotter. So please brush your dog and don't shave your dog.

I wanted to share this article with you. It's a year old, but it concerns a dog that's sold here in the states and it had a voluntary recall after the drug used to put animals down was found in it.

Got my grooming certificate today!

Working on getting a place to work set up in my home. I've got the grooming table. I can come to you if you have a place to bathe your dog or cat. Must let me know if I need to bring my own shampoo or you have something you want me to use. Will get fancy shampoos and conditioners as soon as possible.
