We offer horseback riding lessons for beginner and intermediate riders, focusing mainly on english but also some western.

We still have a few openings to kick off our summer camps starting this Friday June 7th! This camp will be a “mounted games” theme. We’ll be playing games on horseback, and also on the ground! Kids will participate in daily care of horses, riding, games, snack, and more!

Cost is $65 and is due at registration to confirm your child’s spot. Ages 5+ are welcome to attend! These camps are beginner friendly so no experience is needed!

You can also purchase a camp t-shirt for an additional $15 with our farm logo on it. If you are signing up for camp this Friday June 7th, I MUST have your t-shirt order by 5:00 pm tomorrow evening 6/3!

We also have spots for our June camps on June 10, June 17, June 21, June 24, and June 28th! We are looking forward to having your kiddos join us for lots of fun with the horses this summer!

Feels like summer! 😎 it’s the end of the school year. Wondering what fun things to get your kiddos into this summer? Send them to horse camp at Rhythms of Grace Stables of course! 🤠

We have day camps all summer long, with our first camp kicking off next Friday June 7th from 8 am-12 pm! We still have openings for all camps and would love for your kiddo to join us! Campers learn all about daily horse care, groom, tack up horses, ride, play games, get a snack, and we even have themed camps this summer! 2024 Summer camp dates!! ☀️

The wait is over and dates are finally posted! Please note that spots are limited, so if there is a specific camp you want to join then please register early! Camps are beginner friendly, so no experience is necessary. To register, please send a message to our page and Kelsey will return your message. You will need to give your kid(s) name, age, any riding experience, and to confirm their spot you will need to pay in full either through paypal, cash, or check. Cost is $65 per kid per camp. Camp is from 8am-12pm on the dates listed below. We are so excited and looking forward to having the kids join us for lots of fun! Please see our previous post for descriptions on the camp themes.

Summer camp 2024 THEMES! ☀️

We are super excited for summer camps to return this year! many people have been reaching out asking about camp dates, and I promise they will be posted by the end of this week!! (look for them to be posted on Thursday 5/23!)

We are doing themed camps this year! Here are the themes that we will be having:

- MOUNTED GAMES: mounted games are fun and competitive activities to do on horse back. We will be doing a few mounted games during our riding sessions as well as some friendly competition playing games on the ground. 🏇🏼🏅
- SPLISH SPLASH: on those hot summer days, we need some water to cool off! We will be playing water games and doing activities to stay cool on these camp days. Expect to get wet! 💦
- PONY SPA: our ponies always work hard for us, and they deserve some extra pampering sometimes too! On these camp days we will spend extra time pampering the camp horses, including giving them baths, braiding manes, and giving them massages 🧼
- WESTERN: wear your cowboy boots, jeans, and hat because we’ll be doing barrel racing and pole bending! 🤠
- PATRIOTIC: everything will be red, white, and blue these days! Wear your best patriotic outfit, and bring along a white t-shirt as we will be doing some tie dying!

We are so excited to bring these themed camps to you this summer. All camps will include some daily barn chores, grooming and tacking horses, riding, games, snack, and lots of fun! Check back on Thursday for the official camp dates!!

Spring horsemanship classes!

Our next set of horsemanship classes will begin next Monday April 29th and run for 4 weeks, so we will finish the week before Memorial Day! Classes are a half hour long, and we cover the basics of horsemanship - including safety, grooming, feeding, leading, etc, and on the last class students will get a chance to ride! We have "tiny tots" classes for ages 2-4, and the “horsemanship classes” are for ages 5+. We will be offering one brand new "groundwork class" for ages 12+, where kids will be focusing more on groundwork skills and developing bonds with the horses. Class sizes are limited to 4 students, but may modify based on amount interest. Please comment or send a message to reserve your kiddo's spot, and payment of $60 will need to be sent via paypal or check to confirm!

- Mondays at 4:00 tiny tots, 5:30 horsemanship (FULL)

April horsemanship classes are off to a good start this week! This week students learned all about safety being around horses and ponies, as well as grooming. They learned things like why it’s important to groom daily, body parts, and markings and colors. Mazzie enjoyed being groomed and pampered this week, especially since it is shedding season!

We had the best day! It was a great day for our first Easter camp! The rain held off until we were done riding, a few kids were anxious and fearful about riding but they didn't let that stop them from being brave and getting on and having a great time! The kids learned about horse colors and markings, did an egg hunt, and had a magic show to hear the resurrection story! Everyone had a great time and we are so looking forward to having more camps this summer!

we had an overwhelming response to the 5:00 Tuesday horsemanship class. So much so that I doubled the class size. But only 1 signed up for the Thursday class at 4:00. Please chime in and tell me, is 5:00 a better time (or even 4:30) than 4:00? Does the later time suit more people better? If the later time frame works better, I am considering changing the Thursday 4:00 Horsemanship for 5-12 year olds in April to 5:00. Please let me know your thoughts!

There are just a few spots remaining for our April horsemanship and tiny tots classes! We actually had to create extra classes due to the great response we had. Thank you everyone for your interest!

This is what we still have available for April horsemanship classes:
- 1 spot for Thursday tony tots class at 9:30
- 2 spots for Thursday’s horsemanship class for kids 5-12 at 5:00

Cost is $60 for 4 weeks of classes, classes are a half hour. Kids will learn the basics of being around horses and ponies, including safety, grooming, leading, feeding, and will get a pony ride!

We will be hosting more of these classes in may, so If you weren’t able to get in for April keep an eye out for the may schedule!

We have 3 spots left for our Easter horse camp! It will be this Saturday from 1-5 pm, and we would love for your kiddo to join us! It’s going to be a blast! We actually made room for a few more spots because of the amount of messages we had with kids wanting to come the first time we posted. Message me or comment below to claim your spot! Horsemanship classes are back in session for the spring! Sign up now!

Classes will be a half hour long, one time a week for 4 weeks. 4 students per class. Students will learn the basics of horses, including safety, grooming, feeding, and leading. Cost is $60 for the 4 weeks.

There will be two options for horsemanship classes for kids ages 5-12. The first will be on Tuesdays from 5-5:30 starting April 2nd. The other will be on Thursdays at 4:00 starting April 4. Limit 4 kids per class.

There will also be two options for our “tiny tots” horsemanship classes for toddlers ages 2-4! The first option is Mondays at 4 starting on April 1st. The second is Thursdays at 9:30am starting April 4th. Limit 4 toddlers per class. Parents are asked to stay to help manage toddlers.

To break that down visually:
Mondays 4:00 tiny tots
Tuesdays 5:00 ages 5-12
Thursdays 9:30 tiny tots
Thursdays 4:00 ages 5-12

Horse camps are returning for 2024, and to kick them off we will be hosting an Easter camp on Saturday March 30th from 1-5pm! Kids ages 5+ are welcome. campers will be learning horsemanship skills and riding, help with the evening feed, there will be an Easter egg hunt, magic tricks, and we will be sharing the resurrection story. come ready for a fun-filled afternoon! We are giving the lesson horses a well deserved break from riding lessons in January and February! Instead, students will be focusing on improving groundwork skills, liberty training, and learning some bodywork massage and stretching techniques to focus on the overall well being of our horses!

Our first Halloween horse camp was a hit! 🎃🐴🍁 we had the most gorgeous fall day for riding, s’mores around the campfire, pumpkin painting, and a horse costume contest. The kids had so much fun and are already asking when the next camp will be! Thanks everyone for coming out and joining us for a fun day!!

We are so excited to announce that we will be hosting our very first Halloween Horse Camp! This camp will be held on Saturday October 28th, from 1pm-5pm. Campers are encouraged to wear costumes! There will be horseback riding, fun Halloween related games and activities, smore's around the campfire, and a horse costume competition! Tiny tots horsemanship classes are now in session! 🐴

We will be offering two class times in October. These are for toddlers ages 2-4. One will be on Wednesdays at 4:00 pm starting on October 11th- November 1. The second class will be Thursday mornings at 11:30 am starting October 12-Nov 2nd.

There will be 4 sessions and they will be 30 minutes long. The kids will learn the basics of being around ponies, including safety, grooming, feeding, and some leading! Toddlers will work exclusively with our 35” tall, very sweet and cute mini, honey! Classes will be limited to 4 toddlers each and will cost $60 for the 4 sessions. Reserve your spot now as classes will fill up fast! you must pay in full to reserve your spot.

Introducing the newest member of our herd…
Honey 🍯

Honey is a 21 year old mini mare who is just the absolute sweetest! She has been with us for a little over a week, and she has been loving all the attention she has been getting.

We will be offering “tiny tots horsemanship classes” soon with honey! These will be classes geared towards toddlers ages 2-4, and they will learn how to groom, safety around ponies, leading, etc as honey is the perfect size for toddlers! We were told she has given pony rides in the past but she needs a refresher course on that, so we hope to be able to offer toddler riding lessons in the future as well! For now we will just be sticking with fun pony things on the ground.

And that’s a wrap on 2023 summer horse camps!! 🐴

Friday was our last camp of the season! We had so much fun this summer hosting camps, we will definitely be doing more next year! The campers and volunteers both had so much fun learning about horses and having fun!

We also threw our volunteers a pizza party after camp, hosted by Fast Eddie’s pizza! 🍕

Winston Churchill once said, “No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the saddle.” We have been thoroughly enjoying our Friday horse camps this summer! Sharing our love of horses, teaching kids about safety around horses and daily horse care, seeing them smile and laugh being around these gentle giants, and growing friendships has been the absolute best way to spend our time this summer!

We have one more camp this summer, but we will definitely be doing more next year!!

Winter break ❄️

For those of you know how much this sweet old horse means to me, and the health issues he’s been fighting lately. You understand why I say, brb crying every time I watch this video 🥺😭

The last few days, I have been able to tell Lidia to “go bring in checkers” and she walks over to him, grabs his lead rope, and leads him into the barn. She even knows where his stall is and then grabs a brush to brush him. It’s her smile knowing that she’s doing “big girl things” and helping that does it for me 💗 and my old checkers boy being the kindest, gentlest old soul quietly teaching my 17 month old daughter and giving her all the confidence in the world around an animal so much bigger than her 💙
