Now is the time to start new gardens! Have you heard of sheet mulching? All of our gardens are sheet mulched or hugelkultur beds. They produce an abundance of veggies any herbs-without any chemicals!

Fall is a perfect time to sheet mulch a new garden bed or bring an old one back to life in preparation for planting next spring.

We’ve been on the lookout for wild violets for a few weeks now. They’ll be here soon! I can’t wait to try some of these recipes. Jelly, syrup, muffins! 😋

Wild violets are both edible and medicinal and come up in the late winter or early spring. Foraging for wild violets is easy as they grow almost everywhere!
