It’s convenient to be able to go from lead to harness, however I typically go straight to the harness for my dog. The way that it’s routed around her body deters pulling significantly compared to a tradition clip around harness, which my dog seems to think she’s a sled dog and pulls like crazy with it on. For convenience and quick walks, this Train Walker Coonhound, Daisy, is usually walked by her owner in the collar & leash. But Austin switches to the harness & leash when he needs control and loves it! Typically a big puller, Daisy doesn't pull in the Slip Lead Plus™ harness because it squeezes her chest and discourages pulling - worked like magic for Austin.

A high octane Golden Doodle handles much better when Slip Lead Plus was converted from collar & leash to harness & leash. Her owner thought harnesses were too much of a hassle to put on, but loved the easy Slip Lead Plus conversion feature.
