The BEST rags to riches story ever…

9/28/24 we took in a young female corso with 5 mix puppies from Randolph Co Animal Control. To say that Ruthie, the mom, was in terrible shape was an understatement. Extreme hair loss and completely emaciated, she did her best to provide for her puppies. Ruthie was an amazing, sweet dog and will always hold a special place in my heart.

Fastforward almost 2 months to today and you would never even recognize Ruthie as the same dog and the biggest achievement… she got ADOPTED!!!!!! Ruthie is headed to Tennessee to live with Double N alumni, Sampson, on a farm with 2 wonderful parents. I couldn’t ask for a happier ending!

Love love love you Ruthie! I’ll come visit soon!!

Our second Presa puppy was adopted today… ohhhhhh Shadow. The one who demanded love ❤️❤️❤️ Beautiful inside and out! Happy life babygirl!

Our smallest of the little Presa’s was just ADOPTED! It’s soooooo hard to just pick one but Tiny was the lucky one!

Our sweetest girl Birdie is ready to fly 🦅🦅🦅🦅

Birdie is approx 2 years old, 70 lbs and pulled from a high kill shelter. She was very skinny when she came in but is now our chunky princess! Birdie is spayed, vaccinated against rabies, dhpp and bordatella. She is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm prevention. Birdie is microchipped, dewormed, crate trained and looking for her forever family! She is good with other dogs, good with adults and kids, walks well on a leash, definitely funny personality and loves attention!!! She is also used to being around horses.

I just couldn’t let the girls take over… gonna sneak in this handsome fella named Butterbean 🔥🔥🔥

Butterbean came in as an owner surrender because of health reasons. His previous mom has MS and was finding it extremely hard to give Butterbean the life and attention he deserves. We are happy to be able to help out ❤️

Butterbean is only 2 years old. He is neutered, vaccinated against rabies, dhpp & bordatella, he’s heartworm negative and was given the 12 month heartworm injection approx a month ago (we have all records), he is microchipped and dewormed. Butterbean is crate trained, house broken, good with other dogs, good with adults and kids, he was raised with a cat but previous owner doesn’t know about other cats. He does well for car rides. Butterbean is just an all around great dog and he’s ready to get back into a home asap!

Tiny, Mouse & Shadow our 7 month old female Presa Canario puppies 🎀🎀🎀

These 3 girls were picked up as strays together and have now found their way to Double N and it’s their time to shine!!! They are spayed, vaccinated against Rabies, DHPP and Bordatella. They tested negative for heartworms and are on monthly prevention. They are microchipped and dewormed.

Tiny, Mouse & Shadow are great with other dogs, love adults and kids, walk well on a leash, they are currently being crate trained and they seem to always be up for a fun time! Who is ready to bring one of these beauties home???

Ooooooo Ruthie….

Ruthie and her 5 puppies were pulled from Randolph County Animal Services at the end of September. We committed to Ruthie and after her 5 puppies were weaned, they went to an all breed rescue where they had a better chance at finding forever homes. We were then focused 1000% on getting Ruthie vetted and back to a healthy weight. Well that time has come and our pretty girl is ready to be adopted.

Ruthie is approx 18 months old so just a youngster herself. She was 73 pounds at vet for her spay. She is gaining weight every day. She was vaccinated against Rabies, DHPP & Bordatella. She was heartworm negative and started on monthly heartworm prevention. Ruthie is microchipped and dewormed. All the hard part is done.

Ruthie is crate trained, walks well on a leash, is good with other dogs, great with adults and kids. She is always happy and is medium energy level. She is PERFECT!

Those words couldn’t be more true in this case! Our littlest corso, Polo, was definitely seen as a treasure to his new mom. They are a perfect match! Happy life Polo!
