Help is welcoming Dakota to our board and train program!
He is a little over a year old German Shepherd with extreme fear reactivity.
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be focusing on confidence building and helping him to manage his very big emotions in an appropriate way. He has a good obedience foundation, but we will be working on polishing that up as well.
Welcome Randy Roo to our board and train program.
He is a 9 month old Basenji/Shepherd mix who does not listen to his owner at all! His owners had another trainer tell them that the Basenji breed was untrainable😂
He will be here in our board and train program for 2 weeks, learning clear communication and what is expected of him because breed aside, he is still a dog at the end of the day!
Follow along to see this "untrainable" breed grow into a completely different dog.
This is pepper. She is a very sweet 2 yr old Boxer that has zero impulse control 🤣

She is an adoptable 3 1/2 yr old Saint Bernard who is here behavior modification. She is super sweet and pretty laid back but has reactivity issues with other dogs, so we are going to counter condition those unwanted behaviors over the next few weeks.
If anyone has any interest in possibly adopting her, please reach out and I will get you in touch with her foster mom, who is part of the Washington Saint Bernard Rescue.

Her owner is elderly and needs to be able to take her on walks and places without any fear of pulling on the leash or reacting to other dogs while out and about.

He is a super sweet 10 month old Catahoula Leopard dog mix who is here to learn his basic obedience foundation and we are going to layer e-collar conditioning on top of that so he can live his best off-leash life. He has pretty severe separation anxiety in the crate, so we will be addressing that and working him through those issues as well.

Before Gracie started her training with us, she was an extremely anxious/fearful pup who was a notorious cat chaser and ankle biter (this actually happened) and she definitely ruled the roost. We started her training by instilling clear rules and boundaries, which led her to understand exactly what we expected of her (clear communication). Much like children, dogs thrive off of clear expectations, which are instilled by creating rules and boundaries IN AND OUT of your home. Treadmill work is an amazing training tool to use for just about any dog! It is so much more than physical exercise. Mikey here has a lot of anxiety and struggles to listen in situations with lots of distractions or new places he's never been before. Working him on the treadmill helps him focus on what he's doing right in that moment and nothing else, which means he isn't focused on sights, sounds or smells which in turn bring his anxiety level down.
