We are helping a dear friend with finding new couches for her pups. These are F1 Aussiedoodles. They are 9 weeks old and UTD on vet care. All will come with a complimentary puppy groom before going to their new homes. PM us to setup a time to meet them as they do not live at The Woof. So an apt will be necessary so we can arrange for them to come for a play date. Very reasonable rehoming fee.

We are helping a dear friend with finding new couches for her pups. Beau is an F1B labradoodle. He is 6 months old and completely up to date on vet care including HW prevention. PM us to setup a time to meet Beau as he does not live at The Woof. So an apt will be necessary so we can arrange for him to come for a play date. He’s losing some puppy coat which is why his ends look a little wispy. His cool weather coat is growing in.

UPDATE: Sadly, the veterinarian assessed her and said that her cardiac condition deteriorated to the point where she was no longer savable. We always follow our veterinarians advice when it comes to end-of-life matters. Too many times emotions too involved and it’s not fair for the animal. He laid her to rest peacefully.

After assessing her this morning, we are pretty confident she is not pregnant. Based on her weight alone, we are pretty positive. This is a buildup of fluid. Either from heart failure or light stage heart worms. bottom line is, there’s no excuse for any dog to end up like this. We kept her quarantined last night away from all our other dogs/boarders. We are on the way to our vet now. But in the event that this story doesn’t end today like we are hoping, we stopped at Bertilles to get this girl a little hamburger. We are all just about in tears over her. She’s so sweet. Humans have failed her.

The sweet girl has been found in the same spot in Citronelle by one of our big hearted staff members for the past several days. We do not know how long she has been living like this, however, her health is deteriorating. We are not sure what’s wrong with her, we will be taking her to the veterinarian for an assessment tomorrow. she will be staying at the vet for a few days while she’s being vaccinated and assessed before she’s brought back to The Woof. We will allow the vet to decide what happens going forward and will update everyone once we know something. If you would like to donate to her vet expenses please send us a message. You will be able to donate in the shop, through our Venmo or directly to the veterinarians office. We are not usually able to do anything like this, however, when one of our staff members asked us for help taking care of her, we could not say no. She has been taking her food and water every day. We are really praying for a happy ending to this sad story.

Clover is our last little F1B ShorkyPoo. She is fluff for days. She is extremely well socialized. Constantly around people. She has been raised around all sorts of animals including dogs, cats and even a baboon! So she’s used to all sorts! Our pups are bathed regularly and already started getting used to being groomed so in the future it’s a whole lot less stressful. Come by the shop or send us a message to make an apt to meet her!

Visit us on Wednesday or Thursday and every T-shirt or candle purchase includes a meet and greet with our newest employee! Ralphie will not be doing any of the grooming, he generally just likes to make a mess, but we think will keep him on the payroll!
