Greetings from Ohio! We’ve been at the American Association of Bovine Practitioners conference this week in Columbus. It’s sure been great seeing my buddies Meredyth, Jennifer, and Rosslyn! We’ll be back home and back to work Monday. See y’all soon! 🤠❤️🐮

We have had a blast with our 4th year veterinary student, Madi! She’s been riding with us the past couple of weeks as part of her 4th year veterinary curriculum. She’s an amazing woman and is going to soon be an amazing veterinarian! What a great addition to the profession she’s going to be! Everyone show Madi some love! Madi, you know we’re always here for you. We’re praying the rest of your 4th year goes well! Let us know if you ever need anything. We’re cheering you on! Love ya, sis!

We got a call to surgically remove a mass from this horse’s chest. We were able to surgically remove the mass which upon inspection turned out to be a large sebaceous cyst. 🤠❤️🐴

The calf we delivered Monday evening is doing well! Suzanne and Ted also told me they have named him Kyle! What a mighty fine name that is! 😉🤠🐮❤️

Nothing like a calving to end the day! This little boy was coming out backwards and needed a little help entering the world. Momma and baby are doing moooooorvelous! 🤠❤️🐮 Thank You, Lord for your beautiful creatures! 🙏🏻🕊❤️

Shout out to the future Dr. Promise Stout! Promise has been performing an internship with us this summer through Oklahoma State University and is currently applying to OSU's veterinary school. She will be following in her daddy's footsteps of becoming a veterinarian, shout out to Dr. Jonathan Stout of Stout Mobile Veterinary Services and Jacox Animal Clinic! Promise has been such a joy to work with this summer. She is an awesome woman of God and will make an amazing veterinarian one day. Today is the last day of her summer internship with us, but we expect to see her back on her school breaks! Everyone give Promise a round of applause and keep her in your prayers as she begins, well I guess it began a long time ago for her when she was born into a veterinary family, so continues her veterinary journey! We love you Promise and we're cheering you on! We're always here for you! You got this!

This calf acquired a deep laceration along her face. The owner had us out and we were able to surgically repair the laceration. Now once she is healed she’ll be ready for her close up!

Here’s a fetotomy we had to do on a Belgian Blue cow the night of the tornado that came through Barnsdall. The momma had been in labor for some time and the calf was already dead upon arrival. The calf was too big to be delivered naturally and was too big to pull with the calf jack. So we performed a procedure called a fetotomy. This is where we make strategic cuts into the dead calf to allow us to deliver the dead calf in sections since we could not deliver the dead calf intact due to its large size. We finally delivered the dead calf and then momma stood right up and she is doing great!
