These babies were supposed to go home today but their mom and dad’s flight got delayed with all the nonsense going on so now they get to extend their vacation with us one more night.

For the first time this morning (since the last incident) I didn’t carry my taser for a walk because it wasn’t by the door to easily grab on the way out…when a dog has to go a dog has to go!
Of course the first time I don’t have it with me there is another incident. Everyone is ok, thank goodness. But we had what looked like a pit bull that had a leash on but no owner in sight (I assume the owner was on the porch nearby where the dog was ) approach us and I can’t even see an owner at that point but I yell come get your dog like I always do and asses the situation which seems non reactive but then “my dog” starts to react so the other dog starts to react but by then the guy came and got his dog. Just walks away without saying anything which makes me see red so I start reacting lol
“You’re just gonna walk away…no apology or anything, seriously?”

He has the nerve to say “ you should know better than to walk on this street” ….like what? Excuse me?

I said “I can walk wherever the F I want with my dog but you need to have control of yours!”

He said sorry
I said thank you

And then called the police station to speak with an officer because I’m over it, I will report every single officer leash dog that comes up to me idc if it’s friendly or not, learn your leash laws!
It’s now been over an hour since I’ve called an im waiting on a call back but I’m not holding my breath. I’ll probably have to keep calling because they don’t think this is a big enough issue to call me back apparently

We bought yukon a bone and brought it home for him on our lunch break…I interrupted him to take the picture…I think that irritated him lol

More of Yukon! We went for a long walk again this evening to the school and back.

Yukon is back! We got to meet Yukon last summer while he boarded with us while his family was on vacation for a week. We started off this years visit with a nice brush out because well…husky that’s why lol and then we went on a two mile walk to the school and back to make sure he’s nice and tired when it’s bedtime. My photos don’t do him justice, he’s very photogenic and he’s been featured as our cover photo at the top of our page since last year.
He’s such a good walking buddy! ❤️

If you allow your dog to roam around town off leash….you’re the reason I worry every time I take a dog for a walk…your dog might be friendly but some of the dogs I walk are not 😡

Poncho with his Christmas doggie platter.

We sell doggie platters with foods dogs can eat without getting a belly ache from all the added salt and other seasoning/ingredients they shouldn’t have. Poncho is boarding with us for Christmas so he got to taste test everything while I was making them and got his very own platter today for his Christmas meal (with owners approval of course) he’s a small doggo so we only let him eat half, he can finish it later tonight or tomorrow for breakfast :) Hickory smoked turkey breast with ginger and parsley Seasoning, fresh yams mashed with plain yogurt, fresh green beans, pure pumpkin, and a doggie Cinnabon for dessert
