Pickett has found her people and we could not be happier for her or them! The universe lined these 3 up perfectly and Pickett is already living the life of brewery hangs, paddle boarding, boating and all the cuddles her little heart could dream of.

Teddy will be headed to his new home soon! He’s with us for a jump start 💙 He will live part time in Washington and part time in Canada 🇨🇦 We had to work through the new CDC guidelines for travel, but they are all worked out now! Did yall have any issues with travel with the new regulations?

Canyon, aka purple collar, is going to be a big girl. She’s doing well learning her foundation obedience manners, she is sleeping in her crate 11-7 without any accidents!

Blue collar boy is as handsome as they come and loves his hoomans. He has great food drive and loves to retrieve! He will begin his basic training with us now that he’s mastered the puppy basics. He’s had three vaccines and is vet checked and is ready to start exploring!

Ruby, Wednesday, and Ribbit attended the local dog show Memorial Day weekend and got to try out FAST CAT. We got 5 outta 6 qualifying runs! (Ruby did not want to run the first go, so we changed things up and I released her and our friends visiting did the catching!)

Wednesday LOVED it!

Looking forward to doing more with our dogs this year!

Ralph x Ribbit 2.0 vet visit went so smoothly! All puppies got a thorough vet exam by our favorite vet Dr. Huddleston, their first DHLPP vaccine, microchipped with chips, and had a f***l run(all clear!)

And our good friend loves to borrow our puppies for a little extra help at the front desk!

We are so thankful for a wonderful vet staff , they take excellent care of our doggos 🐾♥️🐾

We went for a hike with our good friend and mentor, Kim! Her two girls are on the left ♥️ Then it’s Shady, Wednesday and Cricket! Cricket and Ruby are from Kim ♥️ Beautiful day, and even better company 🐾

The one in the middle is Shady, the only girl from the Ralph x Ribbit 1.0 litter! She is 8 months old and loves hiking off leash!

Ralph x Ribbit 2.0 puppy update!

First picture is all the boys, and second is all the girls! They got their first nail trim, everyone is gaining weight nicely and cruising around the whelping box. Mama Ribbit is recovering beautifully and keeping all 10 fat and happy!

Unfortunately, breeding does not come without some risk, no matter how much I may stack the deck in our favor. Sometimes we can’t fix everything and it breaks my soul. After consulting with our wonderful vets, the decision was made to send little teal collar girl, named Brennan, up to heaven. She had a very large abdominal hernia, along with a slight midline defect in the same area, the two congenital problems together were just too much and I did not want her to suffer.

This litter was born on Temperance’s birthday. Temperance was my Sheriff’s department human remains detection dog, one that I saved from certain death as a puppy when she had been dumped like trash and left for dead with a severe case of parvovirus. Temperance absolutely loved baby goldens, and was their guardian. She loved raising Ruby’s first litter with her. So, I’d like to believe Temperance got her minion to protect from this litter in Brennan.

So did you guess right?….11…maaaaybe 12 little red buns in the oven! Vet thinks she will deliver maybe a day or so early because of how big she is. We’re all prepared, no temp drop yet, so just keeping mama Ribbit happy and well fed ♥️ Now just hoping and praying for a safe and speedy delivery with healthy puppies!

GGG Allergic to Color “Wednesday” earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen title today!

This wraps up her foundation obedience work and now we will start trying a few new things to see what her calling is!

She is maturing nicely and I’m excited for her future!

Well…Ribbit is confirmed pregnant with at least 8! Due March 21! I am beyond excited, as I have LOVED the Ralph x Ribbit 1.0 litter! Shady, my keeper puppy just earned her AKC STAR Puppy, and others are shed hunting, beach going, hiking savants!

Mama Mae is officially retiring and is being spayed on Friday, but that doesn’t mean her training ends! We’re currently working towards her senior hunt title and will continue training her as she lovessss training and learning. ❤️❤️❤️

GGG Allergic to Color, Wednesday, rocking her AKC CGC class! She’s been perfecting a kick back stand and stay! Her teachers love her, and call her an old soul, she’s a wild one at heart!

She is Mulligan x Mavis! She turns 1 next month and we will be doing OFA hip and elbow prelims! She has already had her eyes checked by an ophthalmologist and results were NORMAL.

We may be looking for a co-own home for Wednesday., after she completes a few titles and finishes preliminary health testing. So if you’re local ish to North Idaho, this is a great opportunity to have a started dog and breeder and trainer support.

Pickett’s VHMA title - reel style ❤️ Pickett was held back from our Mavis x Shine litter as a potential bird dog. As she’s grown and matured we’ve realized the bird dog life isn’t for her! She is a fun loving girl, who just wants to hike, run freely and cozy up at the end of a long fulfilling adventure day.
