Happy reunion today! Cooper was reunited with his owner after being missing for a whole week! He journeyed from Hayden to all the way here in Couer d'Alene.

This wouldn't have been possible without a microchip giving us his owner's information, they may have never been reunited.

If you have pets that roam outdoors, we highly recommend getting them microchipped for this reason!

With the weather warming up, we'd like to highlight the importance of getting your dog their Leptospirosis vaccine.💉

Leptospirosis a is bacteria disease that can survive in water or soil for long periods of time, leaving your dogs to either drink it from puddles outside or licking it off their paws after a long walk.

Symptoms of canine leptospirosis include:
Fever
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Abdominal pain
Weakness, stiffness
And severe muscle pain

Dental health is a very important part of your pets overall health. Dental disease effects every part of the body, and when left untreated, can result in heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, and even cancer. If your pet is showing any of the following symptoms, give us a call to schedule an exam!
- Bad breath
- Broken or loose teeth
- Discolored teeth
- Abnormal chewing, drooling, or dropping food from the mouth
- Reduced appetite or refusal to eat
- Bleeding from the mouth
- Swelling in the areas surrounding the mouth
