We have some news today but not quite sure if good or bad.

The Deer Forest property has been sold.

We are not sure who purchased it or what the plans are for it at this time though. If I hear anything I'll post it here for you.

I have also been told that there will be an auction with Deer Forest Memorabilia. ... murals, signs, figures, Santa's Sleigh etc. ..

this will be held at...

Big Bear Auction in Eau Claire, Michigan
Saturday, April 23rd

Hey there Deer Forest Fans!

I had somebody write to me tonight to ask about a coin they have in their possession.
A Deer Forest Commemorative Coin...with the year 1968 on it.

I can't give them any information so I thought I would post some pictures here in hopes that our wonderful Deer Forest Family could give them some answers. :)

Please let me know if you have one like it and/or if you have any information.

Hey fans...

9/11/2021 .. update

It is with a very heavy heart I'm posting the last update from Blair... pictured below.

I..like you..was very excited about the possibility of reopening Deer Forest. Each day that went by it seemed more and more like it was REALLY going to happen.

But then Covid hit... :(

Covid has made everything a struggle..and reopening Deer Forest was just one of the many things that had to be put on hold.

Please read the update pictured here and remember that this is something that nobody saw coming (covid) and nobody could control. It has changed the lives of millions of people as they knew it and so many are still struggling to get back on their feet. Blair was not immune to these same struggles.

Please be kind and although I'm sure you are all very disappointed..please also try to be understanding. This has always been a site for those who LOVE Deer Forest..let's please keep it that way.

I am truly sorry things didn't work out. I'll keep you posted on what happens at the auction if I hear anything.

Hey Fans..

Update today:

Please stay calm..please don't spread vicious rumors while this gets sorted out.

There were NOT 300,000 dollars in donations.. there were about $7,000 in sales and donations which helped pay the legal fees ..website..and advertising.

All donations were put on hold when the 501c3 didn't go through.

This is what I have been told by Blair himself. He is not hiding out he is merely working on an update for you which I will post here as soon as it is sent to me.. I promise.

This site has always been here to try to HELP Deer Forest. This is not a site for rumors and/or lies.

Please be patient while I get the answers you all are looking for.

I will not sugar-coat things ... you will always get the truth ..as I know it..right here.

Hey everybody..

I just saw a post about Deer Forest and a radio station saying the reopening was a scam.

What I know is this...

I wrote to Blair a few months ago and he said because of Covid everything was on hold. That was understandable as the whole country was shut down at the time. He also said he was no longer accepting donations because of that issue.

I will get a new update as soon as I can and post it here ASAP!

I just wanted to let you all know what I had heard ...and that it came straight from Blair.
