Canine influenza, or “dog flu,” is a highly contagious respiratory illness that can be passed from dog to dog. It typically starts with a cough and can be mistaken for the more common and well-known Bordetella. In some cases, canine influenza can progress to pneumonia.

After 16 incredible years with VCA Dublin Animal Hospital, Elisa is embarking on a new adventure in the world of animation! 🎨 Starting as a veterinary assistant, Elisa quickly rose through the ranks to become a beloved veterinary technician and, for the past 8 years, our dedicated tech supervisor.

We'll miss her vibrant personality, quirky sense of humor, and unwavering love for animals. We'll also miss seeing all her fabulous hair colors over the years! 🌈
