Today is National Pet Fire Safety Day
Are you prepared should you need to evacuate your home? Are your pets? Do you have recent pictures of all of your pets to show in case of an emergency? If not, we can help! Take time today to prepare for an emergency and ask someone you trust to be contacted should you not be able to care for your pets.

There's a reason our photographer is usually behind the camera. However our friend Kim Kwiatkowski captured a few photos today at the show when Bo the 4 month old Greyhound decided that cuddling and sucking up to the photographer was better than enjoying other dogs. It worked as he's definitely captured Bryan's heart a little.

B.S. Photography is celebrating 3 years at our Columbia studio this week...

Our photographer, Bryan, got a very special opportunity on Tuesday at the Baltimore Orioles's Bark at the Park game to photograph for Dogs Outside The Ring. Pictures are being slowly sorted through from the game but we are too excited not to share a little bit of a preview. ~40,000 to ~9000... Still working down to a manageable number, and then figuring out what to do as limited edition prints to cover the next trip out to Africa (or Alaska, or Austrailia, or Aiceland... or find another way to fit Iceland into the A's)...

While you wait for me to come back into the land of the living enjoy this pretty Pearl-Spotted Owl who came out on one of our trips into the bush. (It's hard to show in one photo, but it's where moms learned to watch their kids, as it has "eyes" in the back of it's head)...

Dun da da dunnnnnnnn....

After a longer delay than we'd like to admit to... The voting for the 2024 B.S. Photography Calendar is now open... We have lizards, dogs, cats, and birds all in the running this year,
making it set to be a spectacular calendar when it's done.

$1/vote, and you can cast as many votes for as many of the images as you'd like for your favorites. All the money raised in the voting goes to the printing costs of the calendars. You have until 11:59 pm EDT on Sept 19, 2023 to place those votes.

We will update the leading images as we go every few days so you know if your favorite image will be in the calendar...
