We at K9-Training Specialist take great pride in the specialized training we provide. We are not your typical dog training company. We are not a Franchise.

K9-Training Specialist will work with the handler and his or her canine to develop the highest degree of performance between them and their companion. Where most trainers train in ½ to 1-hour classes held in warehouse environments we train in the real world, namely urban and city environments. We specialize in real world Obedience, Competition Sports as well as breed specific test training. K9-Training Specialist trains all dogs as if they were working K9's and not just pets.

We love a good Sunday success story, don’t you?

K9TS client shared this awesome real world success with her high energy, high drive young dog(shared with permission): This good dog went hiking at Patapsco today, and some random guy let his Golden Retriever off leash (after seeing us!!) and Ellie handled it like a champ. Wasn’t *calm* but definitely stayed under control and did not lunge or lose her mind. My little girl is growing up. 😛

K9TS is incredibly proud of Team Nova! This weekend they earned their Companion Dog (CD) title. And not only that but they earned the title with a first place finish AND highest GSD score in class! This awesome team has done some incredible things in Nova’s short 2 years and we can’t wait to see how they keep pushing to bigger and greater things!

K9-TRAINING SPECIALIST has the best clients! We would like to give a huge shout out to Dan Lemkin and his beautiful girl Taz (). When Dan is not helping save lives in the emergency room he is designing, creating and constructing beautiful masterpieces like these “Place Tables”. Dan donated his time and expertise to build 4 awesome tables for us to share with all our clients. Dan even personalized them by engraving our corporate logo on each of them. Taz regularly accompanies Dan to the hospital about twice a week to help aid patients. The two were regulars at training for a long time while preparing Taz for her ultimate job at the hospital. Thanks to you both for this super generous gift to our family!

This we are putting a spotlight on Team Nova! This past weekend they entered an obedience trial to start working towards their Novice (CD) title. Despite power outages (😱😱) the trial continued and Sean and Nova earned not only their first 2 legs of the title but 2 first place finishes!! We are so proud of this team and their continued commitment to excellence! Way to go Team Nova! 💫💫💫
