A friendly, mostly well-known reminder that chocolate is TOXIC for dogs! However, we have a great substitute and that is CAROB.

Carob is a natural and healthy chocolate alternative for dogs. With its many vitamins and other benefits, it is overall a great ingredient to add to your dogs diet, as it can help improve digestion and lower cholesterol. So, try our carob dipped peanut butter treats with an option of topping them with unsalted, dry roasted crushed nuts for a little extra crunch. 🥜

Meet Beau, Big Paws Dog Bakery's Chief Taste Tester 🐾

Beau is a 2 1/2 year old Newfoundland, weighing in at a whopping 130 pounds. He is big, fluffy, and slobbery. His big bark will make you stop in your tracks, but his kisses will show you he is just a sweet and silly boy. He gets really excited around his people and knocks things over with his fluffy tail. He tears up almost all his toys, with the exception of his favorite donut toy. He loves peanut butter, but hates pumpkin. Let's just say he has a very intricate palate (aka he is a picky eater.) So if he loves our cakes and treats, then your dog will too! 🧡

How it all started -

Hi, my name is Logan and if you know me, you know I do not shut up about my dogs. I love your dogs, their dogs, these dogs, all the dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs, so they have always held a very big place in my heart. I really wanted to do something more in my life, something I was passionate about. After talking with friends and family about it, they looked at me like I was crazy because they already knew the answer. (Yeah, you guessed it - dogs.) They knew I liked to bake homemade treats and cakes for our boys and encouraged me to pursue opening up my own dog bakery. They assured me that there are crazy dog people out there, just like me, that would love to have safe and healthy cakes, pupcakes, and treats for their dogs for different celebrations and just because, well, dogs are the best and the deserve everything good.

Thank you so much to my friends and family who have encouraged me (very aggressively) to pursue this. I am so excited and I can't wait to share with everyone along the way.
