Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls 🍗🥐
These Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls are a delicious twist on the classic crescent roll recipe. Tender shredded chicken, creamy cream cheese, and savory seasonings are wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough, creating a flavorful and satisfying appetizer or main dish. Serve them warm with a drizzle of creamy gravy for an irresistible treat that will please any crowd.
Ingredients:
- 2 8 oz cans Pillsbury crescent roll dough
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
- 2-3 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 package Italian dressing mix (or 3 tablespoons)
- 2-3 green onions, chopped (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. In a medium pot, combine cream cheese and both cans of cream of chicken soup over medium heat.
3. Add Italian dressing mix and stir until well combined. Reduce heat to low.
4. Transfer most of the mixture into a large bowl, leaving some in the pot to use as gravy for serving.
5. Add shredded chicken and chopped green onions to the bowl with the soup mixture. Mix well and set aside.
6. Separate the crescent roll dough into individual triangles and place them on a baking sheet.
7. Spoon a generous portion of the chicken mixture onto each crescent roll triangle. Roll up the dough, starting from the wide end.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 9-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
9. Serve warm, topped with the remaining gravy if desired.
