At home Bruiser is a totally different dog then at the show😊. Something taught to me is that certain blood has been selected for more years then my life. All on focus of the bond of dog and home. I've been told that a dog of this caliber has such a connection to his home and property and knows his job so well. So when you pull a dog from his domain and now you suddenly tell them it's ok to be nice and accept people. Relax and let down your guard, it creates great confusion and uncertainty. I believe this is what happened with Bruiser at the show, not to mention he absolutely hates smooth slick floors😥. I have been studying this dog for over a year and he is a durable, confident dog full of love for family including the pack and animals. Now that I know what I'm working with we will be putting in work so I can show to the world a better Bruiser. One of the most impressive specimens I've witnessed with size, power,& speed. He is too good of Cane Corso for the world not to see as a better him. I'm posting this because I'm somewhat disappointed that I failed him and my expectations where to high thinking they could go from the pack to the show without hardly any work.
I'm liking the build on these 8 week pups! #MARZIALI #CAL3RELLIMSCOPPERCHAMPION #TIGER #ANITA #VULAN #COMPAGNOIII #JONES #BREE #OLDSCHOOLBRED I cut the volume so I dont bore you lol🤣😂
It's safe to say that Africa x Ch. RELLIM'S Copper CGC, Cal3 pups are not gonna be for everybody. They are even naming themselves.
"Legend"come out stuck to the teet- "Blaze" has a white spot on his muzzle- and "Half-Deaf" had her ear split because mom stepped on it when newborn. The next day it fell off one side wont need cropped lol.
Enjoying the nice day! Hope y'all are too
I guess I will let the cat out the bag! One of only 2 litters I will have this year.
Comical in the morning I cant talk
I want to give a shout out to Jay Blackburn. He is doing an awesome job with Cani Diavolo's Freight-Train (Onyx). Jay has followed me since Uzi was a pup and almost bought him. Well let's just say it worked out either way. I was seriously gonna keep this pup. JAY gave me his word that he would use him in protection and I gave my word that my dogs can do it. NOTICE: the threat with no equipment on and muzzled. He did get one bite with equipment lol.
Want to share my thoughts on something I see talked about often. From time to time I see where puppy owners are concerned about food aggression. It happens but dont have to. First off I would never get a puppy from a litter and start trying to address this right off the back because of coarse they have been living the last 8-12 weeks in a pack, pushing, biting, and possesing their way to a position. A lot of times I hear people give the worst advice(imo) to people that have problems with this and way to early. I hear people say hand feed them or if they growl pull the food or even RIP the food out there mouth for this behavior. I never do any of these things. Actually I believe these things makes for more aggression and lost trust between the dog and ones self. It is my belief thru experience that you should never have food aggression and the pup will learn this by the time it is about 6 mos old if you raise them properly. It starts by giving them a safe place to eat where they will never fear anything messing with its food during feeding(Crate). My dogs eat all food in less then 10 minutes at feeding. Then I pull the dishes and done. I do this twice a day sometimes once a day. Treats are giving during obedience where they learn to do things for you to get rewards. Chews are giving during leisure time in a relaxed atmosphere. Toys are another thing I control. They are never left around the house for the dog to play with at will. Toys come out and the dog and I play with them together. Then when we are done playing I command the dog to let go(out) and I keep the toy and put them up in the toy box. If for whatever reason I dont want to play with the dog but feel they need something to occupy them I will get a different toy out for them to play with, but before I put the dog up or we go to bed I get the toy and put it up. These interactions teach the dog that I control play and fun things and it earns a great deal of respect and trust between dog and I. If you still h
Day #2 of posting my dogs being happy! I'm very blessed to have such a place where dog's can be and Jay Blackburn , Brenda Lee Murphy, Brandon Coon to post pictures or videos of their dogs being happy for 3 days and ask their 3 friends to do the same.
I want to bring awareness to happy and responsible dog ownership and contrast it against today’s violent world where abuse of animals is happening on regular basis.I hope everyone 👀 that females and males can get along
