Puppies are the most fun part of the job but also the most challenging. Lots of baby talk n comforting support, and can't forget puppy kisses and puppy breath! Gia was just to cute today although my Daisy was not happy about me kissing another girl!

Well fall/ winter is upon us. This is your friendly groomer reminding you to please be using flea and tick protection. I have been blessed to not have a pup with fleas for years and for that I thankyou. With all the squirrel and rabbits in our neighborhoods any dog can pick them up, and if you have a good hunter the fleas will jump as soon as the heartbeat stops.
It is not expensive to get frontline either from your vet, menards etc. Please help me keep my sanity, this is my home and I have pets too.

At 45 I have come to terms that I need glasses for my finishing and scissor work but seriously the looks some of your pups are giving me is making me self conscious. Ya all need to talk to them about inclusion because I am feeling bullied here

Apparently after 2 hours of pampering Millie had enough and needed a nap. She is only two years but was snoring louder then my jasper!

We call these a pelt. It's when a dog is so matted it comes off in one piece. This is caused from not brushing, grooming, etc for at least 6 months in most cases and these break my heart....
Imagine your armpit hair attached to your groin hair and then having to walk around.....
I had a few of these from 2020 when COVID shut the world down and I get it but none since, till this year.
I have had 4 of these now in a month. I know prices of everything are insane and everyone seems to be struggling but please reach out. These are so hard on not only your babies but my equipment and me. I would much rather do a free or low cost groom to help then let your pup suffer. With how hot it has been I can only imagine how hard it has been for these ones to regulate there body heat.
Please just reach out, we all have hard times and my love for animals is way more then money.

After 18 years of moving fish tanks, dog grooming tables and well puppy traffic I am taking a few days off to redue the shop floor. Taking enough days off to let it cure is always tricky and every year I try to make time but it can't wait anymore. It may be something simple but it sure will make me happy!

Our forever was not enough.
I am not ready to talk about it but as more clients come she is obviously missing and I would rather say it 1 time then several times a day.
Kimber became sick 2 days after Thanksgiving. A infection that was attacking her neurologically. It started with her balance, eyes then appetite. We tried for weeks to get ahead of it but she was suffering. I have no words for the pain , she was not a parrot Kimber was our kid and supposed to be with me till the end.
Fly high baby girl, you took such a huge part of my heart with you.
