Equi-Best had a great show at the Spring FDL this past weekend!! Everyone had great rides and lots of fun🎉
Sophie and Aviator were Novice CT champs
Claire and Lux were 2nd in the Beginner Novice CT
Sophie and Penny won their Beginner Novice CT and 4th in their Starter division
Maya and Lacey were 3rd in the BN CT
Finley and Chance were 4th in the BN CT
Rachel and Paddy won lowest percentage for junior rider, the TIP award, and 1st in their division!
Will and Andrea both received a 1st and 2nd on their dressage tests! So proud of our team!!🎉

🐴Seeking Working Student 🐴

Join Equi-Best Equestrian Center, an active Eventing and Dressage Barn outside of New Orleans, looking to add a working student to the team! This is a great opportunity for the right person to work at a very busy training and lesson barn that also brings along young thoroughbreds.
Interested individuals do not need to have experience in Eventing but do need to have riding experience.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
-Grooming
-Tacking
-Veterinary assistance
-Medicating/ treating horses
-Riding
-Teaching lessons

Benefits include, but are not limited to:
-Housing (pictures attached)
-Board for a horse
-Lessons

Candidate must meet the following criteria:
-own transportation and drivers license
-at least 18 years of age
-look forward to the opportunity to ride a wide variety of available horses
-have experience with horses/comfortable around young just off the track racehorses
-ability to follow directions independently
-solution oriented
-motivated to learn and expand on existing skills
-friendly and comfortable interacting with clients and farm visitors
-provide references

With over 220 T.I.P. horses entered at The 2023 USEA American Eventing Championships, a quarter of the competitors will be riding a Thoroughbred! In addition to giving awards to the top two Thoroughbreds in each division, competitors and spectators can pick up some T.I.P. swag and merch at The Jockey Club T.I.P. booth in vendor row.

To be eligible for the T.I.P. awards, a horse must be a registered Thoroughbred with a T.I.P. Number. The T.I.P. Number for the horse should have the correct rider. You can check if your horse is currently eligible for the T.I.P. Awards by clicking on the following links:
