Bear Creek Animal Hospital in Craig, Colorado consists of a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, on-site laboratory and animal shelter, so that a full range of services can be provided to your pets, both large and small, for the entire Yampa Valley. Our four staff veterinarians are Kelly Hepworth, DVM; Gary Visintainer, DVM; Erica Schrader, DVM; and Kim Radway, DVM, on contract. In addition to our

regular hospital & clinic hours, we provide 24 hour emergency veterinary care. Our animal care include the use of state-of-the-art technology in order to provide a variety of services including:
Large and Small Animal Reproduction, Dentistry, Diagnostic Testing, Euthanasia, Microchipping, Pet Day Care, Preventative Care, Rehabilitation, Short- and Long-Term Boarding, Spay and Neuter, Surgery including Laser Surgery and Vaccinations.

There are so many critters deserving of good homes. Help us clear the shelter and put these animals in forever homes by Christmas!

If you are considering adding a new four legged family in the New Year, please come to Bear Creek Animal Hospital and Shelter and meet Goose. Goose has been at the shelter for four long months. He is a healer/great dane mix. He is shy around strangers, but the staff describes him as “the best dog ever” once he gets to know you. Adult animals at the shelter are not broken and they did not choose to be homeless, they just need a chance. Visit www.petfinder.com for information on available animals for adoption.

Them for being afraid or timid. They have been through a lot and would blossom over time in a home and family of their own! Please adopt!

So many sweet kitties available at the shelter!

A time lapse of one of our kennel techs feeding six 2 week old kittens (broken hand and all!) before they went to a foster home! Fostering kittens this young is time consuming but oh so rewarding! Kitten season is upon us, you can help by spaying and neutering your pets and adopting from shelters! 💕 🐈‍⬛

This is Annie! She is 4 years old and so very sweet. A little timid but does great one on one. She doesn’t seem to mind dogs or other cats at all. She loves her pets and obviously loves food. We’ve been dieting as best we can. If you are looking for a loving and gentle kitty to add to your home this is the one! Come see Annie at the shelter! She is available for adoption for $57.

This is miss Annie. She’s a very sweet tabby cat. She’s a little shy but so loving. And we are working on being beach body ready. She’s still got some time though with all this snow still. Available for adoption! Would make a wonderful lap cat.
