Meet Ralph. Ralph is here as a Foster for Clancys Dream. He has been in a shelter setting for nearly 2 years and is very timid. He has a very sweet soul though and we are confident he will bloom into an amazing dog for a family!

Yesterday we were notified that Clancys dream border collie rescue had taken ownership of 39 puppies and young dogs from a horrible horrible hoarding situation. These port dogs not only lived in filth and lack of socialization, but also had disgusting water to drink and were literally living on rotting chicken carcasses! A good friend went and picked up three puppies and dropped one off with us. #22 now named Deacon will be fostering with us until His perfect home s found. He is the absolute sweetest soul. He is just happy to have people love him, feed him and mostly let him run and play. He has been fully vetted and is healthy. If anyone is interested in adopting him Or any of the other 38 please contact myself or Clancy's Dream. It really takes a village in situations like these. Sometimes training is just as much problem solving and ruling out other issues as it is training. Bandit has been here for nearly a week, we are concerned he may have a major hearing impairment or even deafness that hinder him! Working with owners to find solutions and cover all bases is equally as important to us as training! Bandit will have an evaluation done with a bet and we will figure out the best plan for him And his family going forward!

Spring has sprung and we are busy as always! Currently with 4 rescues in our kennel, 3 on board and train for behavioral issues,, and one waiting for a foster (if you know anyone looking for a sweet sweet girl). We have openings for individual training as always, obedience, behavioral problem solving etc. If you are looking for more of a group setting then I may refer to Windy Hill Pet Ranch, who is doing phenomenal starter classes for both puppies and adults!!!

Hello friends!!! We have been very busy helping so many wonderful dogs! Some of these kids are rescues and still Looking for their new homes. Among them is Winston, a very mellow guy who wants nothing more than to be a couch potato with his favorite person. He does need to be an only dog but is the best lover out there! Contact luv a dog rescue if you can be his person! We're also asking for help for some of the rescues. Luccis house of bullies and luv a dog are a couple that we work with regularly that both put dogs first! The financial strain on these rescues runs deep. Why do I do what I do? The pictures here are why! This sweet sweet deaf boy has been with me about a month, getting a tune up on his manners. It's hard working with a deaf dog, but Spud made it look easy. Spud is with 4 Legged Ranch rescue, and tonight he found what is hopefully his forever family. Plot twist, they are deaf and hearing impaired also. From the moment they walked in the door Spud loved them. He forgot his newly learned manners he loved them so much. The feeling was VERY mutual. Within 20 mins of signing to him they had taught him to give a paw! In the shelter Spud was pulled from he wouldn't have been given a chance, but through the rescue and training he has the best chance now and he deserves every bit! We can't save them all, but we can make human and dog lives better every day through what we do! Thank you 4 Legged Ranch for believing and investing in Spud!!

This is my boy Lucas! Lucas NEEDS a foster home, he comes with baggage, and requires a potential foster to be present and available for visits multiple times a week to earn his trust. Lucas has been hurt by many people and has layers of damage to work through, but once through those layers he will do absolutely anything for you and is loyal and loving to the core. I have had Lucas on board and train since May, and he deserves a family of his own. Looking for fosters in the surrounding counties so that a few times a week visits are doable. If you are interested, or believe you can be a good fit please message myself or Lucci's house of Bullies.

We use many different varieties of enrichment for our kennel dogs. Stuffed frozen kongs, stuffed bones, bully sticks, cow ears and various other chews, and today...... frozen raw pumpkin! Pumpkin is great for the dogs digestive system, frozen raw chunks are great for their teeth and chew drive as well as boredom!

This sweetest boy is Kobe! Kobe spent about 6 weeks with us working on some reactivity issues. He is still not a big fan of male dogs but he is good with female dogs, and people! He is looking for his furever home through 4 legged ranch!!

You all remember Lucus!!? Well he's still here, while I can now do anythign at all with him, as well as two volunteers he never lost trust in, he still snaps at others out of a lack of trust. We've brought in reinforcements to help teach Lucus that all people are not bad and most will never hurt him. Thank you Sofia, for believing in our boy and helping work with him! This is the long road it takes when a dog is as damaged by humans as poor Lucus has been, but if he is savable most are!!!

Huge thank you to pet supplies plus in Lafayette for their donation to the rescue dogs on board and trains! This helps ease the burden on myself and the rescues in providing food etc to these kiddos, which allows discounts for the rescues as they help these traumatized kids learn manners and to trust again!

When we talk about "high value treats" some of the most healthy and easy treats are forgotten. Some of my crew are waiting their turns patiently for cantaloupe! Some other great and health treats are watwrmelon, blueberries, bananas, strawberries, carrots, green beans and sweet potato!

Meet Roxie! She is here on a board and train from sacred sycamore rescue. A week and a half ago she was trying to kill us all from her crate at delivery, trusting no one and needing a catch pole to even move her from car to kennel. She's come so very far in a short time. She has always to go but she can trust again! This folks is why I do what I do.. she is truly a life saved and one of 2 that we currently have!

I would like everyone to meet Lucas. He just arrived here today from horrific conditions and treatment at another board and train. Lucas is owned by a rescue and they are trying desperately to give him the chances and life he deserves. He's been starved, tortured and had who knows what done to him. He's scared, aggressive, shut down mentally, and in horrible physical shape. He still wants to love and be loved. We are here to do our very best to help him. His care and training are not cheap, if anyone wants to help at all please let me know and we can take donations for him. This is the worst case overall we've had so he's going to need a lot, but we are going to give it our best because this boy deserves it!!

Our current board and train Bella. Never been away from home, somewhat reactive with both people and dogs, but we are winning her over!

I am not a groomer.... but I can do some cuts. This is Auggie, he is a past training client that was very dog reactive in his household. During our training his owners had concerns for his behavior during grooming st their groomer. It go so bad that the owner had to go hold auggie, and eventually the groomer informed them she could no longer groom him as he was so bad she felt he needed sedation. He would snap, growl, alligator roll and more. I offered to try grooming him before sedating. This is our second time grooming together! He doesn't need a muzzle anymore, and is mostly polite for even tender ears. We do still need a muzzle when it comes to pulling on mats, but this boy has come so very far!!!

Another reactive dog won over! Woohoo, great job Lucy facing your fears. They poor kiddos just need work and patience!

I've recently had a few people ask me How I feel about reactive dogs boarding. ALL dogs are welcome here. We are setup in a way that we can manage them without handling if that's needed, though we try our best to earn their trust. Attached is "Monster" monster trained with us earlier in the year but recently came to board for 4 days. When he arrived he was snarling, snapping, growling and lunging at the gate at feeding time. This is today, I can fully handle him With no aggression whatsoever and he can now go outside in the play yard! Every dog does not get to this point quickly, but we can manage and care for every dog.
