Rattlesnakes. As much as we'd love to forget about them, they are around. We're in a hot, dry summer - they're looking for water and making themselves more known. This is a rattler killed in Dr. Furrer's driveway (few miles outside Creswell) at 8:30p. There were animals around, and he was out in the open giving a barely audible warning. PLEASE watch your animals, kids, and yourselves.

UPDATE: Buster is now home with his family!

Does this dog belong to you? He was found on Evelyn Avenue around 9:10am and brought to City Hall at 10:15am. He is not neutered and the person that found him informed us that he is a biter. If this is your dog, please contact City Hall at 541-895-2531.
