The dog flu sounds very scary but the good news is there are no cases anywhere close to Crockett and I am on a website monitoring cases based on locations. No one wants their beloved dogs sick, including me! I just wanted to make a post reassuring clients that I am asking everyone if their pet has been coughing or sneezing and I am keeping pets from socializing for right now just as a precaution. I have three different sanitizer products and will be sanitizing extra to just get into the protocol for if it does somehow make it to our areas.
I have heard the flu has been around for almost two years now, it’s just making it way around television and being very hyped up. Americans love their dogs, so I understand the fear, but please consider us groomers made it through the covid lockdowns, and we all need to work. I will make more announcements if needed to update my clients if there are any reason for concerns. For right now do not neglect your dogs grooming, matting hair and overgrown nails can be very painful for our pets.
