Bittersweet day!
R.I.P Citas King Boo, aka Witko, is a daddy again. First of his foals for this year. This beautiful filly, born to LeAnne Winkowitsch this morning, is absolutely stunning!! Cannot wait to watch this filly mature. Congratulations!!

Royals Quick Chick. (Bay) was bred to Royal Quik Frenchman expecting foal end of May beginning of june.

Owning horses is not for the faint of heart. The time, the money, the feelings you put into raising a horse and horses can be very rewarding. We have foaled out some amazing c**ts over the last several years. The stud we used was close to foundation bred. Smart, athletic, and kind and sometimes he could be a jerk! Sadly last night our stud Citas King Boo aka "Whitko" passed to the rainbow bridge. We are all terribly saddened by this loss. Here's to you 🍸 Whitko! Enjoy prancing around and chasing mares on the other side. Never forgotten!!

Feeding time!

Citas King Boo has spent the summer in eastern Montana. He is working cows, and doing some barrel training. He will stay there for calving season and be back in the spring. We will be breeding three of our mares in the Spring 2020. April and May only. Next year will be his first for outside mares. If interested contact us. $500 fee, hand bred, no pasture, $5/Day mare care, LFG. Registered APHA

Winter has been long and crazy here on the Hi-line. We have a lot of snow. Amazingly it has stayed out of the arena for the most part. Hay stack almost buried and the drifts are hard enough to hold the weight of a horse walking over the panel. Tractor froze up with our chilly wind. Although, today was beautiful out! Yard was dug out and a trail back to hay stack was accomplished. Tomorrow, hay stack and panels hopefully cleared. Meanwhile, the horses look great! Fluffy and fat! Colts are growing nice and looks like the buckskin mare is getting some size to her belly! Stay warm and if you have to travel be safe!

Weaning time. The boy changed colors on us. Tink filled out nicely and got darker.

Checked on mares and foals tonight. Few more weeks we will be weaning. Tink is getting pretty dark. She is quick! Joker has attitude. Black hair on a front and hind foot, mane and tail. He's quite the looker.
