We are a safe place for any and all. We provide a special designed walk-through type Safari experience where special needs children no matter their disability could just be a kid. However, anyone over the age of 2 we
lcome to visit with appointment. We do some amazing things here at H4A. Such as visit the assisted living to brighten their days. We do encounters for hospice individuals, veterans, special needs and also educate about our animals. We also rescue fur babies, who need a forever loving home. We provide them with love, fresh food, a warm place to call home. Adoptions and rehabs:
We help facilitate finding new homes for some of our animals we rescue as well as rehabilitation or injured animals often providing forever home for disabled animals that require more extensive care. With that being said we will screen for the right home of our available adoptions. The exotics that can't be purchased from traditional pet store are not adopted out, this is their forever home/sanctuary. We are always happy to have volunteers. To be a volunteer please message us to set up a time and duties include, cleaning enclosures, feeding, watering and socializing. there is currently a contact list since we do not overwhelm the animals with too much new at once and are training current volunteers. Job training, we also would love to welcome special needs adults and assist with job training and skills. donations....

Ok guys I won’t blow this page up with shelter dogs all the time I promise 😆❤️ Lola & Tony are at Greenville shelter and they are the longest residents. There are people offering to pay the adoption fee on both dogs if someone will adopt them, Rescues willing to take the dogs and pay for their care while they work to find homes for them if someone will foster them. People ready to help, we just need a foster or adopter! They will be next to be put down if we don’t advocate for these babies! Lola (dog on the left) is likely blind and she uses Tony to get around so although they could be adopted out individually it would be great to see them go together.
Huge thanks to whoever has been sending chewy Egift cards. We used them to buy some dry exotic food today. $75 in food only cost us $19.

It's that time where ya find baby bunnies while mowing. Great guide to help esp with all this rain
FINDING FAWNS:
Alot of folks find fawns around and immediately panic when they don't see a mother.
The very first question is look at the ears. Are they straight? Or are they crumpled?
If straight, was the deer laying down or standing up?
If the ears are crumpled and the deer was standing up and crying that fawn likely needs help.
The crumpled ear tips mean that the fawn is dehydrated and mom is likely gone or lost.
In this case, the baby needs help!!!

If you are EVER in question about wether or not you need to help the baby, this is the answer.
If you find one with these crumpled ears, get that baby help!
We always advise if you get the fawn and can’t get it to a rehabilitation facility right away, NEVER feed the fawn ANYTHING but unflavored pedialyte.
You can find local rehabbers at your states wildlife website or www.animalhelpnow.org just put in your zip code and click on the type of animal you have found. 💗
Make sure when handling wildlife you get them to a licensed rehabber or facility.

If you need bounce houses or bouncy slides I can not recommend SweetHops Party Inflatables & Rentals enough. We used them for our event and they were great but most of all the customer service was amazing. They went above and beyond to help us make it accessible with the mud from all the rain and even packed up the balls that we put in it and forgot to grt out when they picked them up. Great customer service is becoming a rare thing so we wanted to let folks know how awesome they were for our special needs event we had!!!

Did you know that if you live in the DFW area, you can call the Dallas Zoo when you're cutting down brush, and if it's something the elephants can eat, the zoo will come pick it up to feed the elephants? The adults eat around 300 pounds of plant matter a day!
I know a lot of y'all are still cleaning up from the storms, so keep it in mind.
