Please spread the word! Luna was LOST on January 28, 2022 in Fort Worth, TX 76109 near PetSmart on Hulen
Message from Owner: Calling all of Fort Worth! Please help my best friend find her Dog, Luna! Luna was my friend’s dog she had just adopted on Tuesday, January 25th. Luna was scheduled to be spayed on Thursday the 27th, and we had instructions to pick her up at the Fort Worth Adoption Location at PetSmart on Hulen today (Friday, January 28th). Upon arriving at PetSmart, we filled out Luna’s remaining papers, and one of the employees, Michael, went in the back to grab her. About 10 minutes had passed, and another employee, Megan, inquired where Michael was. We told Megan that he had gone back to get Luna, so Megan went to help him get her. She came back out and informed us that the dog had “escaped,” and her whereabouts were unknown. We went to the back of the store to find that the back door had been left open, and Luna’s kennel was unlocked and open. Luna was nowhere to be found. The PetSmart employees had essentially lost Luna. After hours of searching in our car, we could not find her, and the employees had no timeline for her escape. After a lot of emotion, we were left with a simple “sorry” and little to no help from management to locate her. Luna is shy and likely scared. She has just had surgery and has open incisions and likely a cone.
