Wednesday they will have our water off all day for the road construction so we will not be in. We are also having internet being worked on by att.

Regarding the new Respiratory sickness in Dogs. Although there have not been many cases in this area that I am aware of, we do get a lot of travelers with their Fur Babies. This has shown up other places around the US.

There is no amount of cleaning we can do to avoid the spread of this as like Kennel Cough it is airborne.

After speaking with several trusted vets our policy on this is as stated.

We will need a note from the vet of well fur baby. Then we will require a wait of 2 weeks (14 Days) before fur baby can come in. This is the same policy we have with kennel cough.

We recommend you check with your vet at the Bordetella is the best defense for this right now. Even though it isn't sure protection it is a good line of defense. Right now be careful with dog parks and places were dogs gather as they could be carrying it and show no signs.

As of right now we will not be accepting any borders that are not regular customers and from this area. As most know my fur babies are here with me everyday and just like you I would be devastated if anything happen to any of the fur babies.

We have a couple of slots for this week as we are pulling extra time so all the fur babies can get in before Christmas.

We work M-F beginning at 7:30 and stagger coming in. We usually just work every other Saturday again depending on the schedule of what dogs need to be done. Schedule can be somewhat flexible but if you are scheduled we need you here. We go home usually after the last furbaby leaves and we get cleaned for the next day.

Cleaning. We do a lot of cleaning. Some days we move the same things around 3 times to clean. Hair gathers quickly and we must keep a clean environment. Lots of mopping and cleaning kennels.

This is answering phones, checking people out, bathing dogs, scheduling and what ever else comes our way.

Starting pay is $10. As you learn more and can do more we can go up in pay.

This is a great job for anyone that thinks they want to groom, be a vet tech or be in the pet industry in the future. Although we do get to love on the fur babies it is a lot of work as well.

We don’t work every weekend usually 2 weekends a month. However we do have a some busy weeks throughout the year.

Starting pay is $10 an hour reevaluate after 8 weeks.
