I saw this on another page and felt I needed to share. Here are some important things to remember after adpoting a new dog or puppy.

The 3-3-3 Rule represents the phases that a rescue dog or puppy will go through 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months after being adopted.

*3 days of feeling overwhelmed and nervous
*3 weeks of settling in
*3 months of building trust and bonding with you

Please be patient especially if you are adopting an older dog that already has routines and is learning new ones with you ❤️
