Bullseye is a 11 yr old 15.1h APHA gelding. This boy is THICK, stocky frame and easy keeper, well suited as a man's mount, Always barefoot, but benefits from shoes in rocky terrain. Great on trails, forward thinking so best suited for an intermediate rider. In a program is advanced beginner friendly and is currently being ridden kiddos ba****ck. Has not had any funny business under saddle, but can be pushy on the ground when not in work. He has had a rope thrown off of him and would work well for gaming. Everyone meet Hank! He is a 7 yr old registered AQHA gelding who stands 14.2h. This guy is thick and takes up the leg well! Has been trail ridden extensively, worked around cattle and sheep, and had a rope thrown off of him once or twice. He loves having a job! He will trail ride all day alone and loves it. Beginner safe kinda guy, with no hanky panky under saddle. Has been ridden by quite a few kiddos and tries to please every time. Excellent ground manners, sound, healthy and barefoot. So Wroyal GVF is a 2021 15.1h (maturing to 15.3 to 16h) chestnut Hanoverian filly. She is by So Unique (winner of the 2018 Danish Warmblood Stallion Preformance test, winner of the 2018 Budeschampionate for 3 yr old stallions and winner of the 2020 qualifying round of the German Bundeschampionate for 5 yr old stallions.). In the 2020 qualifier, So Unique received the fantastic score of 9.0. He is by the Triple World champion, Sezuan. Sezuan is an in-demand breeding stallion that won international competitions up to Inter I. So Wroyal's dam, Wroyal Heir, (Widmark/Don Frederico) was awarded the2016 Bari Von Hartwig Memorial Trophy.

The combined lineage of So Unique and Widmark yields a filly with gaits full of suspension, forwardness and a striking impression. She would make a wonderful riding horse for a woman or young person with her quiet temperament. So Wroyal is regularly groomed, bathed and vacuumed. She stands for the vet and farrier (strong hooves) and ties. So Wroyal would be a great addition to a riding program and/or breeding program.

Bogart GVF's dam, Wroyal Heir (Widmark/ Don Frederico) was awarded the Bari Von Buedingen Memorial Trophy and the Dr. Hartwig Memorial Trophy.

Exhibiting the beauty of his lineage, Bogart GVF has 3 correct gaits with excellent rhythm and natural suspension. He has a solid, sweet temperament while at home or at a show. At his first show in June 2023, he received 2 scores of 74% in Introductory A and B. Bogart GVF will continue to be trained and shown until sold. Foals can teach children so much about life. Patience, praise, and how to be thoughtful. Ryder has decided he wants to teach our blue roan warmblood filly all the things himself this year. He had her hard tying, and leading very quickly. So pleased with the quiet brains Rock is putting on his foal crop.

We are very pleased with this special gelding. Handled his first time away from home beautifully, pulling the high score of the show with a 74% in both classes. He took everything in stride, and was an absolute gentleman as always. Perfect young horse for pro to develop or would easily be brought along by an ammy or young rider.

The unfortunate truth of owning and/or running a business.

Running a business is really hard.

What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid-back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.

Friends and family will expect discounts and people will value you and your hard work less than a big chain store or company.

You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.

Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work-life balance.

You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All whilst being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend...

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5-10 years. If they are successful they are overwhelmed.

It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.

Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives.

Be kind, be patient, support small businesses…….and hopefully more of us will stick around!

And know that 2022 prices are not 2023 prices.

Delilah is a 2010 registered AWS mare who stands 16h. Sire- Delaurentis Dam: TB mare. Excellent mind, was previously used at an intercollegiate hunter and loved it. A pasture injury has left her unable to continue to perform her job and she is now looking for a career as a broodmare. She is an easy keeper, was perfect for ultrasounding, and appears to cycle well and normally. Good for clipping, bathing loading etc. Great ground manners. Can be stalled or rough boarder, however will crib some in a stall, which is controlled by a cribbing collar. WFFS status unknown. Mid to upper four digits. Located in Verona, WI.

This is how we learn:

Student enters area

Me: Did you check your girth

Student: Yep, good to go!

Me: let's warm her up. Student proceeds to walk for 10 min and then we pick up the trot.

Student: I think my saddle is slipping.

Me: ok, bring her to the middle and I'll check her girth.

Student: walks, and heads toward middle, her eyes get a bit wide, and ever so slowly slides to the right. Mare stops in the middle and student plops on the ground.

Me: Are you sure you checked your girth was tight...

Mare replies for student "Nope"
