R***r wins Best of Breed this past weekend in West Palm Beach, FL!

This boy is currently sitting in the Top 20 in Breed points for Golden Retrievers. He is an Arson son, bred by Casey's Goldens, and co-owned by us.

As of end of Feb 2024, Team GoldRox has 3 dogs in the Top 20 in breed points. Eli is #10, Rip is #14, and R***r is #19.

Arson also has 2 more kids in the Top 20. The #1 golden, Magic, and the #9, Baron. That makes 5 dogs bred or sired by GoldRox in the Top 20 goldens IN THE COUNTRY.

My life in a photo 😆

If you would have asked me 10 years ago where my life would be now, never would I have guessed we'd live on a beautiful lake front property with a border collie and 16 ducks! Of course, dogs have always been a part of life, but the ducks I never saw coming. It's been a blast, and they have been fully accepted by the dogs.

By the way this photo is not 2 photos photoshopped together! Arson and the rest of the crew know to run around the ducks and the ducks totally trust the dogs now and even seek them out for protection.

🌟20 YEARS🌟

On January 14, 2004, the very first GoldRox Golden Retriever litter was born.

Today, on the 20th anniversary of our very first litter, we celebrate the 16th GoldRox Champion!

Daisy, GoldRox Land Rover at Pelcorp, was Winners B***h and Best of Winners for a HUGE 5 POINT MAJOR in Brooksville, FL to finish her Championship. She defeated a whopping 42 other girls, and all Breeder/Owner Handled!

But today wasn't just about Daisy. Today's Brooksville results also showed just how prevalent the GoldRox kennel name has become. The Best of Breed winner, Best of Opposite S*x winner, Winners B***h, and Reserve Winners B***h were ALL 🔥ARSON🔥 KIDS.

We could not be more thrilled with how far our program has come and are honored to have been included in other programs through the use of our studs.

Here's to the next 20 years!! 🍾

The Sky x Rhett babies are 4 weeks old today!!

They're getting *spicy* and FAT 🤣

They started real food this past week, and we've had a massive shuffle in weights. Little Red girl is now just 0.1 lb behind the next smallest puppy, and Periwinkle has passed the boys as the biggest puppy!

They will upgrade to the big pen soon and get to explore the yard later this week ❤️

Don’t Buy A Dog From Me
( What reputable breeders want you to know)

If you want to buy a dog and walk away, don’t buy one from me. If you want to pick a puppy because it came to you when you sat down or gave you a cute look, don’t buy one from me. If you don’t want to take my recommendations on what food to feed or what is best for the health and well being of the dog, after years of experience, don’t buy a dog from me.
If you just want a puppy NOW, because you need it for a Christmas gift or to be in Senior Pictures, don’t buy one from me. If you never plan to update me on how the dogs is doing or send a picture once in a while, don’t buy a dog from me.
If you want a dog to live in the back yard, run loose on a farm and never share time in the house with your family, definitely don’t buy a dog from me. If you want a lawn ornament, you can buy one made of cement or plaster, not much care needed.
However, if you want a puppy that has parents with health testing, that was socialized, loved and made a priority from the day it was born. A puppy who’s temperament and activity level has been carefully chosen to fit your lifestyle. A puppy selectively and purposefully bred to the standard set forth by our breed club, then maybe you do want to buy a dog from me.
If you want a breeder who will at anytime in the dogs life take them bred back, no questions asked and refund your money. A breeder who is there 24/7 for you and your dog for questions and concerns and will work hard to help you resolve any issues. Then you might want to buy a dog from me.
If you want a breeder who loves each puppy/dog with all her heart, considers you part of the family and will laugh or cry with you at any time. Well then we might be a match.
Reputable breeders should never be lumped in with puppy mills, backyard breeders or those who broker dogs. A reputable breeder will be able to provide clearances, a five generation pedigree, an explanation as to why they bred the two dogs. While most of the time they will make little or no money. What money they might get is reinvested Into the dogs one way or another.
A reputable breeder knows their dogs, and can realistically tell you what to expect and when. They can guide you toward veterinarians, training facilities and products that will benefit your dog.
A reputable breeder will be your friend, a guiding hand and a strong shoulder.
So whatever choice you make, make it with the best interest of the dog in mind and if that’s not your plan….. then don’t buy a dog from me.

Happy New Year from the Sky x Rhett Puppies who turned 3 weeks old yesterday!

These guys are getting around good now, and personalities are really starting to emerge. They're such a chunky and big headed bunch!

Unfortunately, on Christmas Day, we lost Blue Boy to suspected Intussusception (don't ask, just Google it). We are heartbroken but have 10 more beautiful babies to hug ❤️

As another year comes to an end, we reflect on another amazing year for team GoldRox.

Charlie, GoldRox's Top Gun RN CGCA BCAT, picks up her first 3 WBs for a total of 4 points towards her championship.

Bogie, GoldRox Love Affair, has done very well from the puppy classes, adding 5 points towards his championship.

Daisy, GoldRox Land Rover at Pelcorp, started her show career with a bang, winning 10 points towards her championship in just a few weekends.

Player, CH Pendery GoldRox Beaches Love Me, and R***r, CH Casey's Aim High at GoldRox, both finished their championships at the same show in November! Both these boys are bred by other breeders but are sired by Arson and co-owned by us.

Blue, GCH GoldRox Can't Help But Falling in Love with Blue RN THD CGC TKN, picked up several Best of Breeds, and group placements, and ended the year in the Top 10 Owner Handled Golden Retrievers!

Bronson, GCH GoldRox Hang Five SDHF, came out to play for his first time as a special and finished his Show Dog Hall Of Fame title in a single weekend with 4 consecutive Group wins and a Reserve Best in Show!

Arson, BIS BISS GCHB GoldRox SunnyDreams Fire Starter SDHF, has continued to prove just how talented he is as a stud dog. This year, 14 of his kids finished their AKC Championships, bringing his total up to a whopping 37 Champion offspring!!

And last but not least, Rip absolutely dominated in the show ring. This year his won over 50 Best of Breeds, 9 Best in Specialties, and dozens of group placements. For May to Sept, he was the #1 Golden Retriever in the country, but unfortunately, fell to #3 after having to take a break due to the "mystery respiratory illness" that has plagued the dog community. Rip has made a full recovery and will be back in the rings in January!

None of this was possible without the hard work and dedication of the owners and handlers of these dogs.

We can't wait to see what 2024 holds!!!

❤️ Yeager ❤️

On Wednesday, we had to say goodbye to Yeager 💔

He was 2 months shy of his 9th birthday and was taken by the same horrific cancer that has taken so many goldens before him. sucks!!!

He was truly a once of a lifetime dog. Everyone who has met Yeager knew how special he was. He was intelligent, driven, and incredibly athletic. He was also so empathic and kind. I swore he could read your mind and speak English.

He was successful in everything he did and racked up tons of titles along the way. He competed in conformation, obedience, rally, agility, and dock diving. He also performed in photoshoots and commercials and would have made the perfect therapy dog, too. He could keep his composure when needed but knew how to turn it on when it was time to compete.

Today I've really seen just how many hearts he's touched and it truly makes me happy to see all the outpouring of love for my sweet boy.
