One of our male hedgehogs passed away tonight :( RIP Oscar. Such a sweet sweet boy. He actually passed away in my husbands hands :( at least he got some extra cuddles and wasn’t alone when he passed.

The girls in the critter nation kept chewing holes in the cement mixing tub so I got creative lol hopefully this stops it. Plus I added a lot more toys and enrichment. Little brats lol

Easter was Sunday, so that means there’s a lot of left over boxes, paper, eggs (both plastic and real), and just things in general.

Believe it or not, these type of things can be donated to ratterys or mouseries such as myself!

Below are things from easter or just things in general and what they can be used for!

* Small to medium cardboard boxes:

-can be used as hides, dig boxes, and are overall really helpful.
Really small boxes are perfect as hides for the mice!

* Crinkle paper

-otherwise known as paper grass, crinkle paper can be used as nesting material and is really helpful when giving more enrichment to mice and rats!

* Newspaper

-can also used as nesting material! Bonus if it is shredded!

* Plastic Easter eggs

-Plastic Easter eggs are awesome foraging toys! I make my own foraging toys and Easter eggs are great for those!

* Boiled eggs

-leftover boiled eggs from Easter are good treats! I don’t need them as much as the other things listed, but I have a bunch of animals who may enjoy them!

* Paper cups

-can be used as hides and water bottle holders for mice!

I’m also looking for pink paper bedding, crinkle paper, cardboard boxes, and just pink things in general. I’m making a pink themed enclosure for my female mice and would LOVE free or cheap pink things for the enclosure!

Other things you can donate are 8-16 inch round wheels (also needing pink wheels), water bottles, paper bedding, ceramic hides (or scrub holders), and some other things I can’t think of at the moment.

If you have questions, please ask! If there’s anything you have that you think may be able to be used for rats just ask ❤️🐁🐀

I do not own rights to the music playing!

I’m so excited for this litter! There are Burmese Harley and black Harley in the litter. Some may be Silvermane since dad is a black Silvermane. Not sure if any will be available for adoption. It will depend on temperament testing.

If you was waiting on the current litter of rats to be available, please message me. Unfortunately, they didn’t pass temperament testing so none will be available for adoption. Hopefully next generation is better. I do have others paired. Fingers crossed we have babies in a few weeks!

I’m sorry I haven’t gotten pictures of the baby hedgehogs yet. We’ve been dealing with illness and a hospital stay :( hopefully things calm down here in the next day or so and I can get pictures taken

Baby hedgehogs are 2 weeks old. They grow way to fast ❤️ still hands off for at least another week. Possibly 2 weeks. Just depends on how Vulnera is doing at that time. If still stressed, I’ll wait an extra week. They all seem to be doing good though

I’ve recently found out that a puppy vaccine can kill your rats! The nasal/oral Bordetella vaccine is a live virus. It sheds for 10-14 days and is deadly to rats. So if you have a puppy, request the shot since it’s a dead virus.
