Sadi and I started out to go to Winn Dixi. A mile later we ended up at a very different place. It's a restaurant supply store that the general public can shop in. Even though I didn't get everything I was looking for my wallet was very happy.

There're 5 photos on this page. 1 is of me sitting in a padeo chair 2 is a bag of trash. 3 is of Sadi eating dinner. 4 is a picture of Chandler sending in our living room. And 5 is a 4th of July flag.

Let's deal with pictures 1 and 2. The first picture is a plastic garbage bag of doggy p**p. Picture 2 is of me sitting on a paddeo chair in the grass part of our doggy playpen.part of having a service dog is being able to pick up after them. And sometimes that includes picking up after their puppy friends after they"ve had a p**papaloosa party. Yesterday being the 4th of July we had family ovvr and so did Sadi and Chandler. We had Chris, Katie, Tiffany, Xander and Mattix over. Sadi and Chandler had Sophia, Nala and Vandet over. And the first thing they do, all 5 of the dogs all pile into the doggy yard for a p**papaloosa party. When we moved with a real yard our son built us a doggy playpen out of scrap 2x4 posts and wooden lattis. It's nice to have a separate place for the dogs to do their business. Byt whether you have a separate place for the dog to go or not you still have to pick up their waist up.

A holiday like the 4th aren't fun for any dog. The pops, bangs and the hiss of fireworks hurt their ears and can be very frightening to then. So pictures 3, Sadi eating, and Chandler, 4, standing in our living room had a play date. The goal is to create good memories around all of the ruckus associated with independence day.

We've moved. We've been busy paying bills related to moving. We've also spent the week waiting for our new modem and router to be delivered. Then our house will be fully functional. We'll definitely be out and about this week.

This's Chandler, my husband's guide dog. He's being clingy because he doesn't feel good. Why doesn't he feel good? Because last night we went to visit family. They have dogs which are allowed to have things that our dogs can't have. The item in question was a bison bone, which actually won't hurt a dog. Chandler chopped and chewed on that bone to his heart was content. This afternoon i walked out to our kitchen and was greeted by a pile of oops!!! I was glad we have tile in this house. So, no harm was done. I took both dogs out to go busy. He finished his business outside.

Our working dogs are on a more restricted diet than your average dog. There're many reasons for this. We take our dogs into resturaunts and around table food all of the time. If they aren't exposed to it they want it. In order to maintain a healthy weight, our dogs don't get a lot of dog treats, which are actually made for us dumb humans to buy them. And actually, most dog treats aren't actually good for your dogs. Our dogs do get rewarded for good behaviorr. They get a couple of kibble from a snack size ziploc. They like this as much as a high calory dog treat

Which plants put your dog at risk?

The common backyard plants in this list may be only mildly poisonous to dogs or may cause more serious canine health problems.

Last Saturday night Sunday morning when all the family finely left, I was taking Sadi out before going to sleep, Sadi was sniffing something. Suddenly she jumps 6 inches straight up in the air I don't know what it was. But I must've sounded and looked like a crazy woman laughing at her. It was so quiet out there, no cars no air conditioners, just my laughter.

We're truly sorry that's has been so long between posts. But here we've been going through some changes that have forced us to refine some of our techniques. Although we don't have our technique perfected, we are at the point where we can share with you our adventures along the way.

Today we took a trip on the medical shuttle to my breathing doctor's office. There wasn't anything unusual about our signing in. We went back to the exam room and saw the doctor. On the way out the nurse calls for our ride. As we're waiting for our ride to bring us home I noticed that the waiting room is filling up fast. A woman in a wheelchair with an oxygen concentrator on it and her 2 companions come in. One of their cell phones makes a noise that reminds me of a doorbell which Sadi barked at. So, of course, I had to correct her for barking. Right behind these 3 folks came 2 more folks came in.at this point, I make the executive decision that we'd be better off if we wait outside. Upon exiting we encounter another gentleman who came to the same conclusion. So here we are waiting by the wheelchair ramp for our ride. That's where the three pictures were taken. When we "get home" Sadi gets off the van and acts all confused. I'm looking around and realize that we're on the wrong side of the complex. Fortunately, I was able to flag down the driver so that he was able to bring us home.

The black dog is my husband's guide dog. He's a 75-pound black lab.

As you know, Sadi has an issue with bigger dogs. Especially dogs who come at her from behind her. Since November of 2018, she's developed a firm friendship with hi He can come up to Sadi from any angle and she says nothing about it. They sleep together during the evenings. When it comes to feeding time they eat next to each other. And when their respective bowls are empty they will go to the other"s bowl and see what might be in it. They're constantly sharing nylavones back and forth. They go busy together too. They've even worked together. I'll get a video together soon.

During the holiday season, it's important for any, especially a service dog, to interact with family. But the interaction should only as little or as much as you're comfortable with.

Today I used a 4-wheeled walker with Sadi for the first time today. I had to walk to the convenience store because the car wasn't available. Although I couldn't work her in the conventional sense, Sadi didn't present me with any real problem. The biggest issues were with the logistics of using a walker. I was saying to one customer that pushing it was like driving a Mac truck. Her reply," it siloed seem kind of wide." I agreed and said, "you can't argue with free though." We both laughed and we were on our way. We got him ok. When I was folding the walker and putting it away when it fell against the door and made a big noise. Jim managed to come in the door, pick up the walker and put it away.

I think we finally got Sadi's allergies under control. She's allergic to poultry, beef, lamb and eggs. We've switched her food to Nature's Recipe Salmon, Sweet Potato and pumpkin. Sadi still gets her supplement for skin and Benadryl as needed. If her skin gets hot she gets an aspirin. The dark discoloration in her coat has gone from almost black to a very light brown. Thanks to her vet things are working out. And best of all, she has no more sores.
