Just saying …. If there is something about your breed that you think needs fixing, that’s one thing. Generally speaking, however, not screwing it up is (or should be) the goal of most. I don’t think there is a beginning, a middle or an end for one’s program. You are an itty-bitty cog in the wheel. You/we as breeders….are not immortals. Try to leave others with something decent to work with!

I‘ve had a difficult time writing this. The Griff community has lost an irreplaceable friend and advocate to the breed. Dick always had time to share his experience and talk “Griffs.” He was a true friend and mentor. He was our biggest supporter and best cheerleader! He dearly loved a dog named ”Big“ and it was fitting as Dick was a giant person in all the best ways. He will be greatly missed by so many including myself. 🐾💜🐾 — with Richard Byrne.

PSA - Birch Sugar = Xylitol. They’ve renamed / rebranded it but it is still deadly to our pets.
Very common in ‘sugar free’ products.
