Minpin Things

Minpin Things This page is devoted to miniature enthusiasts who wish to decorate their room boxes and dollhouses with fine pottery and other miniature collectibles.

You might think that "Minpin Things" is about a dog breed. It is not. I chose that name after a book written by Roald Dahl, called "The Minpins." Minpins are little people who live in trees. The get from place to place by riding on the backs of birds. They live in tiny houses, that are just like ours, but on a smaller scale. They befriend Little Billy, a lonely boy, who sits in his room, and they

take him on many adventures. I loved that book, and wanted to supply other Minpin enthusiasts with a source of furnishings. I have been a miniature enthusiast for over 30 years. I have over 25 room boxes and have completed two dollhouses, the first of which I sold. In 2011, I took pottery lessons, from The Hairy Pottery, at the NAME convention. I have been improving my craft ever since. Although I make other items, for 1:12 scale miniatures, pottery is my main focus. I offer pottery, for the dollhouse, at reasonable prices. You can view them at http://minpinthings.etsy.com

I belong to the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts and The International Guild of Miniature Artisans.
