Two baby Cape Parrots (Brown Neck Poicephalus) just arrived at the shop! These little guys are already fully of personality and very sweet. We love working with this species as they are very laid back and a great family bird. Capes once fully mature are dimorphic, which means you can tell males & females apart by their appearance 🙂 the females of this species have a beautiful orange cap/head coloration while the males heads turn mostly “silver”. Dusky Conures!
We have two adorable little Dusky Conures in the nursery! These guys make great companions and are very sweet birds. If you are looking for a smaller bird with a lot of personality then look no further! Dusky Conures are primarily green with a grey colored head and bond very strongly with their human companions. These little ones can be a bit noisy at times so please do plenty of independent research prior to bring any bird into your home.
