We can't let the month go by without sharing our superstar, Harold! He follows you around like a dog waiting for some food crumbs and he is totally obsessed with cardboard boxes. Forget a cat bed, give him a box. 😹 He has been with us since June 2022.

He also takes his medication daily like a champ.

Hi, I’m Lo. I’m a 2 year old female standard poodle and my owner surrendered me to a rural pound a couple months ago. I still haven’t found my people but it’s not for lack of being a good girl. The picture below was after all my mats were cut off because I came in with what essentially appeared to be a lambs coat, all one piece at the time it was removed. I feel more free then ever but I still sit waiting for my soulful eyes to catch someone’s ❤️ .
I’m great with other dogs, I can live with kids who respect me, and I love hard. I know grooming upkeep can be a lot for dogs like me so please, If you don’t think you can manage my coat, please don’t consider adopting me. If you’d known what I came in looking like, it was the most uncomfortable pain I’ve ever experienced besides the sadness of leaving the person who allowed me to get in that shape. I’m not shaming her but I do wish the next person who eyes me up understands the maintenance to keep me comfortable and pretty. I would love to never be a dirty girl again.

Please spread the word so we can find this pet's family! FOUND on October 6, 2023 in New Haven, CT 06511 near By the east rock dog park

Message from Finder: This poor little guy was found running around in East Rock, New Haven. He seems dog friendly, and his fur is pretty clean so I think he must have a somewhere! So many people banded together to catch him and make sure he didn’t get hit by any cars and we are so thankful he’s safe. Please help find his owners so he can go back !

Description: Un-neutered male dog, tan fur, pink striped collar. No microchip that we could find.
