We need volunteers for the show this weekend. We are now offering REVEL BUCKS!!! No experience needed, no horse experience needed, we have lots of volunteer positions available.
**Earn our new Revel Bucks, good for schooling or food and drink at Back Roads Beer Garden (opening later this summer) or you can donate your Bucks to the jump fund :
4 volunteer hours per show = $25
6 volunteer hours per show = $35
8+ volunteer hours per show = $50

The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program

📣 Exciting News!! We've been approved to offer The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program classes at our Horse Trials in June and August!! Here are the classes we will be offering. ➡ We've ALSO been approved and will be participating in the United States Eventing Association, Inc. (USEA) Inter-Collegiate Team Challenge competition series at both of our shows (so show your school spirit!!!)

🙂 In case you're not following us over on Revel Run (please do!) we wanted to make sure we got the word out that we are HIRING for the 2023 season and more! Check it all out and please feel free to share. Thank you!

🌻 Hey Everyone! As we start to really gear up for an exciting 2023 at Revel Run we wanted to put it out there that we are looking for a few key players to join our team! Since we’re still in the formation stages of things like FOOD (but know we need to have something awesome available) this post will be a bit light on specifics like hours/days but please know we are open to talking options and are excited to hear what people have to bring to the table. ➡️ So here’s what we need for Revel Run 2023:

🍻 1. Biergarten Manager / Bartender - The Overlook (the building in the photo) is close to being ready and the plan is for it to be OPEN to the public this spring, to coincide with the start of the equestrian & wedding/events season. We need someone who is as enthusiastic about great beer at a gorgeous venue as we are!


📝 2. Events Coordinator - Weddings, showers, family gatherings… we’re already getting calls & bookings and we need someone with a fabulous eye for the details and passion for making sure everyone not only knows about Revel Run, but gets the 110% experience when they book their function/event with us. Are you that person?


🌮 3. FOOD!! Are you a passionate player in the Michigan food scene? Do you have a fabulous food truck that is just LOOKING for a place to call home (at least for this summer?) Let’s talk! We will have a prep kitchen for our functions & event catering (All functions are welcome to bring their own caterer. We do have a list of ‘preferred vendors’ we are happy to recommend, but we also know you’ve gone to a lot of effort to choose your own. They will be welcome here!) we also know we want to have someone offering food here at Revel Run on a regular basis. Beer and a food truck or two… what could be better on a gorgeous southern MI afternoon? 🌞

👋 Meet our new Barn Manager! Elin Bastianelli has over 25 years in the industry and actually grew up in Dexter. She has a quarter horse called Reba and they compete on the AQHA & H/J circuits. We're excited to welcome Elin to the team!

New Merch is flossin’, Jim is……trying to floss🤦🏽‍♀️🤣. Be sure to come pick up new arrivals at the Revel Run show this weekend!! **CONTEST ALERT** Who can teach Jim to floss!!??? Post a video, tag of you flossing in your New Revel Run Merch & get a free sticker. At 2 pm Sunday Darlyn will pick a flossin’ Champion to win a new Silipint or Shirt.

"Spooky ride" at Revel Run, Sunday Oct. 30.

This upcoming weekend we have the last horse show of the season, the last chance for riders to kick up some dirt and jump some fun jumps. And the weather is looking good!

We are in need of some wonderful people to volunteer for the show. Dressage starts at 9am, jumping starts at 11:30 (jump judge meeting at 10:30), and since we have only 75 riders we should be done around 2:30.

Come and watch some good riders and horses compete, some dressed in Halloween costumes (which should be cute!) It should be a fun day and we will make sure we have enough chili for everyone!

Anyone looking for some part time work in a great environment with some great horses? Cobblestone Farms is in search of some horse loving people to work at the barn. Could be simple duties, stall cleaning or even feeding the horses (both am and pm feeds are available). If you've never done an event derby before, it's a dressage test as the first phase and a mashup of stadium & XC as the second phase. The number of jumps depends on the level.

Well even though it rained a bit in the morning it seemed like everyone enjoyed riding in our Fall Event Derby. It was another fun day of friendly competition, good courses, and great camaraderie.

We have to give a super big shot out to the volunteers as they never complained when they were getting soaked by the downpour at the tail end of the show. All they wanted was a car to sit in but by the time the vehicle got there the rain had stopped. They never stopped doing their job. Talk about dedicated volunteers!

Truly, thank you to all who made this show happen, and the riders who came to compete. We enjoyed having you and hope it was a great day for you!

Here is a picture of one of our riders from this weekend, Roselie Ruiter, from Serenity Farms. There is nothing better than seeing the smile on her face! It says it all and it's the reason why we do this!

We need mostly jump judges and dressage scribes. We will start at 9am. Cross-country briefing will be at 10.
