It's that time of year that we make an unpopular but necessary statement: we don't like the flexi-leashes! There is a time and place for flexible leashes but a veterinary clinic is NOT the place for it.
Leashes should:
-help with control of your pet
-a safety mechanism for both OWNER and PET
Flexi-leashes don't provide either, especially in a parking lot, veterinary clinic, or a city street/sidewalk. If your pet is 6 feet out in front of you, how can you control them from jumping out into the street? If your flexi-leash locking mechanism fails, how will you pull them back in without burning your hand? If you have to do something and use both hands( sign something, find your car keys etc), how will you hold onto your flexible leash?
We've also seen injury to dogs from flexible leashes. They can run really fast and really hard and then get whiplash. We've seen neck injuries, back injuries ( when they flip over) and even broken legs when they run hard and the leash isn't retracting in time and wraps around their leg.
we are not saying it's not helpful when you are trying to exercise your dog or allow them to the the bathroom in private. We are just saying there is a time and place for use and in public areas, like a veterinary clinics or parking lot, is not the place for them.

Does your pet eagerly watch you cook, hoping for a tasty treat to fall their way? Remember, it's essential to never leave pets unattended in the kitchen while cooking. Pets may accidentally jump onto stovetops or knock over hot items, causing fires or burns. Use stove k**b covers to prevent pets from accidentally turning on burners.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET IN THE CAR ON A WARM DAY! โ๏ธ๐พ๐
It doesnโt matter if you are parked in the shade or if the windows are down โ that car is going to act like an oven! The inside temperature will continue to rise, making it extremely dangerous for our pets! Left the AC on? Cars often stall โwe see these cases a lot. The best way to keep your pets safe is to leave them at home!
