Lucy, our 3 month old mini golden doodle, wanted to say “hi”! This is our first golden doodle and by far the smartest puppy I have ever trained: potty trained-check, let’s me touch ears/tail/paws/mouth with no problem, “sit”command -check, crate trained for night time sleeping through the night-check, working on the come command and it’s going well. We have so much fun with all kinds of play games. I am looking forward to daily Lucy adventures!!

This poor baby showed up in our neighborhood a couple of days ago and is in URGENT need of help. I've lost count of how many strays we get around here; it's insane. My sweet neighbor, who has also helped other strays, tried to assist her by taking her to the vet. Unfortunately, the vet exams were costly and she couldn't afford them. It turns out this baby is filled with fluids. I can’t imagine the pain and discomfort she’s in.

If any rescue organization could step in and help her, it would mean the world. It breaks my heart to see her this way, especially in the Houston heat. Please help me by sharing this post to get her the help she needs.

Y’all remember to let a business handle this, milestone, before bombarding them. I’m sure they will do the right thing. They apparently are animal lovers and will not be okay with this situation I’m sure.

Obviously, it’s impossible for us to know everything that goes on in all our team members’ lives outside of work, so once again, thanks for letting us know. We are disheartened to learn about the recent allegations involving a member of our team. Milestone LOVES animals, that’s why we are so involved in animal shelter & rescue organizations. Please rest assured that we are taking the proper steps to handle this situation with this team member. Ashley and William Laroe adopted Ivy and Birdie from us in 2019.

This past Sunday 6/9, we received a notification from the microchip company that Ivy was found. Us being stupid and thinking the adopter was looking for Ivy, we texted them. No snswer. We called the phone number sent to us in the notification (to a vet’s office). We received communication the next day. Since we still didn’t hear back from the adopters, we contacted their alternate number, which we found out is Ashley’s place of employment at Milestone Electric. While I was on hold for Ashley she miraculously replied to my text. But was too busy to take my call. I’ve attached the conversation I had with Ashley through text. As I said, we truly believed that Ivy had just gotten out and her adopter would pick her up. She didn’t even have a concern when I said Ivy was almost dead. On a body scale of 1-9 Ivy is a 1. 1 being the lowest possible score.

She has swollen eyes. Her skin is in terrible condition, obviously emaciated, nails over grown, skin issues, so dehydrated she needed her eyes lubricated.

A dog will naturally find food, even garbage. They may end up pretty thin but not like this. They will also find water which has been pretty prevalent lately.

Birdie was given away to someone which is against our contract. I’ve brought this to Ashley’s attention and she thinks ghosting me is going to make this go away. No ma’am it will not. I’ve notified Ashley she’s in breach of contract on both adopted dogs.

We just want to make sure Birdie is okay and in a good home and legally transfer ownership.

This sweet girl has had a rough start to life, bouncing from home to home. She was initially in a shelter in East Texas, then adopted but quickly given away for free to another individual. The next person also wanted to give her away. Thankfully, a kind-hearted person intervened to prevent her from ending up in the wrong hands again. However, she can't keep her.

He is safe now, but Look close, look at the defeat in this baby’s eyes, look at the scars and imagine what this dog went through. Now, realize when a dog is given away FREE and no one checks out the people who pick up a free dog, no one ask for a reference, no one checks the home....that dog can end up just like this!!! A dogfighter is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. They appear normal, they send their wife or girlfriend because females seem safer. Also you have the ones that get them for free just to torture and kill them. Be careful when rehoming a dog!!! Take time to check the people out. BUT contact a local rescue to help you.
