Our new addition to the farm. Serama chicks. My littlest farmer is so excited. They are so tiny and delicate. Cannot wait for their colors to come out.

Hazelnut, GingerSnap and Snicker Doodle went to their new home today!! The kids were so adorable walking their new goats to the car. ❤️

One little baby. The other one didn't make it. So mom and dad are happy parents. My shoe was attacked, but no other serious injuries in the attempt to snuggle this little one. These geese were given to us the first summer we moved here. It was a trio but unfortunately one of the females passed 2 summers ago. These two are approximately 13 years old. Geese can live a long time. I love this breed so much. I hope this baby is a female.

Nothing scarier than 2 mamma geese and the dad's protecting the nest. Haha Egg check done and I didn't get bit!!! 1 hatched 1 peeped and the other nothing.

Finally got our power restored. Anyone have the earth straw system in their well? I am looking at purchasing it, but curious if anyone is currently using it.

We are up and running today. Just pulled jalapeno cheddar sourdough bread out of the oven. As soon as it's cooled it will be added to what's down tlat the road. Come check us out today from 9:00 till 1:00.

Have animals they say... It will be fun they say.... This mornings shenanigans. Bernard breaking into the little piglet area... The goats breaking into the little piglet area ... The goats breaking into the barn... The goats not appreciating all the wonderful grass they have and breaking through the driveway gate to eat weeds on the other side! The theme here is ... Goats are a pain in the backside. 😆😆😆😆.

On that note I finally received all the paperwork for the babies. We have some very nice doelings for sale. I am going to work on updating their pictures tonight and get them posted on the website. Discount on multiples also willing to trade round hay bales for goats of equal value.

Also no bread today. Our house is too hot and it over proofed in the night. Starting over this morning. Will definitely have bread tomorrow. I will add some yummy things to the farm stand for tonight. Sorry for any inconvenience. I know a few were planning on coming out tonight to snag some.

The farmstand will be open tomorrow. I think I am thinking of doing an evening . So probably 4-9 tomorrow. I made Sourdough blueberry coffee cake, brown sugar rhubarb cookies, butterscotch chocolate chip cookies. Proofing over night is sourdough loaf bread. It's been so hot I haven't wanted to turn my oven on!!

For Friday 9-2, I will be adding jalapeno cheddar Sourdough bread, and the rhubarb coffee cake with pecan crumble and maybe another cookie variety. I will keep you posted.

Moved the piglets to a different pasture today. This was the first time moving on their own. I was shocked how easy it was. Haha These pigs have such great personalities.

The little turkeys are out on pasture now. They were a little scared at first, but loving the grass now. I have been working the past month on a roadside stand! So excited for this little adventure. I will be officially open tomorrow. I will have sourdough bread, cookies and many other wonderful treats! Farm Fresh eggs and I will also have my goat milk soap. I've wanted to try this for a while, but I am finally making it happen. I have a few more finishing touches today, but today will mainly be a baking day for me.

Turkeys are hatching!! I put 30 in the incubator. 4 not fertile, 2 died during hatching, 2 died after hatching, 2 still trying to hatch and 6 never hatched(but were fertile) we have 14 so far. I was hoping for 20 to raise this year. Our mom hen is currently sitting on a clutch also. Maybe she will give me the last 6 I want.

Goat babies are the cutest. I am waiting on some paper work for a few of the babies still, but we have some cuties needing new homes. I have been working on getting my website updated. It’s been neglected for a few years. Haha The girls are listed, so if you are in need of some good future milkers, check out our website.

So excited for this little gem to be coming to our farm soon! My kids are contributing towards him for Mother’s Day and my Birthday! Such great kids!!

My husband and I will be making a trip down there next week. If anyone in the area wants anything from her, we would be happy to transport. Check out their page she has some really nice animals for sale.

Happy 2 weeks old little piggies. They ate getting so big already. We castrate the boys Monday. I am glad we only have 4 to do. Haha Never a fun job!

Goat Season ended with Twins. 1 boy and 1 girl. We have 20 babies jumping around!! 🤣🤣 I am going to work on pictures this week of available does. We have so many cuties, we are having a hard time deciding who to keep.

Little MacDuff has been out with all the goats today. After birthing complications he was born c-section. Mom didn’t make it so he has been in the house for the past week. He is liking being with the goats. We are slowly transitioning him to the barn. Thankfully this week is going to he warmer so we should be able to get him moved permanently soon.

The piggies are getting so big already. They are so cute in their piggy pile!!

We will be raising a few extra this year. Let me know if you are interested in a half or whole. Will be processed by a local shop. Raised on non-gmo, feed that we mix ourselves, and will be rotation grazed on woods and pasture. All other piglets will be available after April 13th. Mom is Old Spot/ Duroc with a little yorkshire and Dad is Old Spot Yorkshire. They have a nice combination of length and solidness.

Went out to do chores and found 2 little doelings for Mulan! What a girl year! 11 girls 7 boys so far. One more goat to go and we are done with baby season. Now to find amazing homes for them.
