Megan smoked a run at The Stage Stop arena last night a 16.8 for 2nd in the 1D & her fastest time ever, (don't mind the commentary we were working on our barrel racing lingo lol). Cricket also came along with us & got rode in the arena with all the horses warming up, perfect exposure!

This girl has came along ways in a short amount of time. She didn't really want to Trot our first day & now she is loping all over. She can sit down & get some pretty decent stops out of ol Bud now too! We worked on learning our diagonals & how to switch them on our last ride.

Update on Jake! He will be ready to hit the trails with his owner this summer!! Working on softness of the face & body control outside of the arena keeps their minds open to new things & willing to learn. Here, I am suppling Jake' s face while standing in the creek
