PSA: I received a text from someone that almost got scammed. Thankfully she did her research and avoided being ripped off.
Be careful with kittens listed in groups. Some may be legit, but unfortunately, there are a lot of scammers that steal pictures from breeders websites to try scamming people.
Be diligent, do a bit of research on the breeder. See if they have a website, check if they have complaints or reviews on Google or Facebook. If their Facebook has only a few people following and basically no posts but the profile picture, that's a big red flag. If the price of the kitten offered is too good to be true...red flag. Ask to see multiple pictures and videos of the kitten. If you are still not sure, ask to do a video call, so you can see the actual kitten.
Many times, I have people (all different names) posting/spamming links to this group and other groups in the comment section of my posts. I block them and delete the link as soon as I see them to try protecting the people following me from these scammers.
So be careful out there.
Thank you all for following my cattery and thank you to so many of you for giving my kittens beautiful and loving homes. You are all very appreciated.
Over 12 years of breeding these wonderful cats 🥰
