I cannot begin to tell you all how thankful our family is for the outpouring of love and encouragement we have received.

To Brown's Durant Funeral and Cremation Service~ Thank you all so very much for all of your guidance and patience with our family and all of the love and compassion shown. You were all very appreciated in this extremely hard time and making the process as simple as possible but amazing.

To Sierra Haney~ I don’t even know how to thank you. You gave the best of everything for my love. I know from the eagle 🦅 that flew above us at graveside, that you honored George Hankins’ memory and spirit with your actions of love. Our family asked for you. Thank you Sierra.

To the Choctaw Drummers 🪘 who sang and played at the service, you could feel the love and emotion from the drums. What an incredible tribute to his heritage. Yakoke! - Thank you from our family. 🪶

To the Choctaw Spiritual guide that blessed the family and George at burial, YAKOKE! I know the ancestors were pleased and so many were with us is those moments. Beautiful to see the two eagles 🦅 sore over graveside as you blessed his Choctaw Spirit. 💜🪶

To the Choctaw Community Center, thank you for feeding our large family before the services. Our hearts are thankful. 🙏

Yakoke- Thank you to Assistant Chief Jack Austin and Sunshine (and Jeanne Porter for help contacting) for the beautiful Choctaw Medallion Sunshine gave us for him. We are honored and incredibly grateful. 💜🪶

🦅💜🪶We were incredibly thankful to see everyone who came and paid respects to our George. It was amazing to see how many lives he has touched. We could not have asked for a more beautiful service to honor his legacy. Thanks to everyone who has sent food, flowers, cards, paper goods, money and love, we thank you all! Our family is honored and we cannot thank you all enough. 🪶💜🦅

We have been asked from many directions on how to donate to the family or contribute in anyway. We will not set up a GoFundMe, as they take percentages.

Below, we have attached Helen Hankins cash app and will ask that you send directly to her. She is not able to work while processing right now and this family business is their sole source of income.

We appreciate all the love and support from the community.

Services for George Hankins will be Monday, April 22 at 2pm at Brown’s Funeral Home.

Family night and viewing will be Sunday April 21st from 3-5pm at Browns funeral home.

Today was more to bare than initially planned, we apologize for any inconvenience, but we will be closing boarding and grooming for the week.

The family will be at the shop tomorrow at 8:30am to reschedule appointments currently scheduled.

We hope to reopen normally April 24 but will continue to update as we make arrangements. We are continuing to take bath only appointments.

We appreciate everybody and their understanding in this time. We are missing our George Hankins greatly. 💔Please keep this family in your continued thoughts and prayers.

We are fully booked for this week and will not be accepting any more grooming appointments. We will not be taking board appointments until after April 22nd.

Today we have lost a huge part of our Dawg House Family. This morning, George Hankins, left us here on earth to be with his daddy, brothers and grandson in heaven. He was a father, papa, uncle, cousin and friend to anyone who knew him! A huge rock for the Hankins family is missing today. 💔

We will update everyone as arrangements are made for services but ask for respect of the family as they process this loss.

We will not be taking boarding appointments at this time. We will continue grooming and bathing appointments as well. The office will be open at 8am Monday.

We appreciate all the love and encouragement we have received from the community.
