FYI if you happen to find a last minute opening online, this is most likely because someone just canceled via text before we had a chance to see it and it became available online. Chances are we have a wait list and will have to call you and ask you to look for another appointment available at a later date so we can give that spot to someone from our cancellation list that has already been waiting weeks for an opening. So, if this happens to you, please keep the “we will take our business elsewhere” comments to yourself. We are already under enough stress and are doing the best we can to try to accommodate existing regular clients. Thanks! 🫠

We have recently been receiving many calls from existing clients questioning the accuracy of there being a 3-4 week wait for a full groom appointment when booking online and the answer is yes. We do not have any appointments available until the middle of June for an all over haircut full groom. We strongly recommend rescheduling your pet every 6 weeks or less to avoid any inconvenience. Many of our clients do this and reschedule out for the entire year. This can be done online or in the shop at time of pick up. We understand that it is not always possible for everyone to know their schedules that far in advance and for those situations you are welcome to call in and be added to our cancelation list.

Recently we have stopped accepting new clients for full haircut grooms on dogs over 35 pounds in an effort to save room for our existing clients. 80% of our large dog clientele are on a 6 week or less schedule and always reschedule. This does not leave many openings for those that don’t reschedule. We are not able to “squeeze in” a 3-4 hr large dog groom, there just aren’t enough hours in the day and we are VERY busy. We work very hard, we rarely take breaks and are doing the best we can. Please be patient and please be kind. I assure you, rudeness will only get you put at the bottom of a list that doesn’t exist! 😉😂 Thank you all for patience and understanding, we truly have the best clients and appreciate each and every one of you!😘

NEW GROOMING CUSTOMERS:

We are currently NOT accepting new clients with dogs over 35 lbs for full service grooming. This means if you are new with a dog over 35 lbs that needs a full all over body haircut, we do not have any openings for the rest of the year for this service. We are willing to add you to a wait-list and if a spot opens up we will contact you.
We ARE still accepting new clients with dogs over 35 lbs that only require bath, brush outs and light trimming.

Patricia is feeling judgy today 😉

She has been waiting patiently for her perfect forever to find her. She needs to be the only pet in her home but she makes up for that by giving her humans all the extra love they could possibly imagine. She loves her humans so incredibly deeply and hopes you can make room to give her the same in return!

Please note, we are currently only accepting applications for specific dogs. Meaning if you apply for Patricia, your app will only be processed for Patricia, and not another of our Angels.

Attention clients scheduled for grooming today: We have had two employees call off and we will need to reschedule many of our appointments today. If you are able to reschedule to next week please text an X to the reminder and call us and leave a message and we will get you rescheduled as soon as possible. We will also be calling everyone this morning to ask to reschedule. We can’t physically groom the amount of dogs we have scheduled today being short two ppl and we also are not willing to work until midnight to get them all done!😅 Thank you all and I’m sorry for any inconvenience but it is out of our hands!

Abby's Angels Animal Haven brought us another one of the rescued pups to groom this evening after we closed for business. Worked on him until 11pm. I’m physically and mentally drained from all of this but we will keep going until we know they are all safe and comfortable! (Thank you Julie for staying, helping and loving on him while I got the filth off).

Thank you to everyone reaching out asking if we are ok and if we need anything. And to those that dropped stuff off today, we sent that stuff with Abby’s Angels. We want everyone to know we will continue to accept donations for Bedford County Humane Society and Abby's Angels Animal Haven for these pups in need.

As far as things we need for the ones in our care, we could use some blankets, bath towels, a small bed or two, bleach, Rescue disinfectant, treats/chews and Purina Proplan canned dog food. Anything we do not use directly for these pups will be donated to BCHS or Abby’s Angels.
Your support and appreciation is what is getting us through this with our sanity intact! Thank you!❤️

Typing through tears as this is just something you can never get used to no matter how many times you’ve seen it. Today we helped 3 of the sweetest, saddest souls. I chose the ones that were the most severely in need of immediate grooming. These dogs were part of the 95 dogs found in a hoarding situation that were taken to BCHS. I will post the after pics in a separate post. To say I am shaken would be an understatement.

Huge shout out to my crew who showed up at my shop on a moments notice. All I had to say was “I need help” and they were all there, no questions asked. I love you girls more than I can ever express.

Thank you to Abby's Angels Animal Haven for helping us help these sweet babies.

Please consider donating supplies or more importantly your time to Bedford County Humane Society They will need all the help they can get in these upcoming weeks.

First off..the DONATIONS!!! I can’t thank you all enough! Idk why I’m even surprised because I already know how awesome you all are! Definitely feeling the love for all the displaced pets this season! We would like to deliver everything to BCHS on Dec. 23rd so they have everything for Christmas so there’s still plenty of time to drop stuff off to donate!

Secondly, the snacks and treats for our staff are always so appreciated! We are so spoiled! Not pictured are all the homemade cookies which do not last very long!😅 You guys know we need that extra energy boost to get us through the busy holidays and your appreciation does not go unnoticed!
